Dubai to Geneva by private jet takes about 6 h 37 over 4,920 km, Dubai International to Geneva, normally on a long-range jet. Indicative price from €52 500 for the whole aircraft, one way. We quote against your dates within 30 minutes and the operations desk answers around the clock on +357 95 119759.
Dubai to Geneva nonstop in about 6 h 37 min, in a cabin designed to stay airborne that long. One aircraft, one crew, no connection in Frankfurt or Istanbul - and an operations desk that answers at three in the morning.
REQUEST A QUOTEGeneva recorded 34,273 business-aviation movements in 2023, third in Europe behind Paris Le Bourget and Nice (EBAA 2023). There is no comparable published count for the Dubai end - the EBAA tables cover Europe only - so this page does not print one. What the sector itself says is plain enough: at 4,920 km it is beyond every midsize cabin and comfortable for a long-range one, which is why this page discusses three aeroplanes rather than a dozen.
This is a straight two-airport pairing, and the interesting part is that neither end is a dedicated business-aviation field. Both Dubai and Geneva International are large international airports where private traffic is handled to one side of the scheduled terminals - which is better than it sounds, because it means full customs and immigration facilities at both ends at any hour.
| Airport | Codes | Role | What that means for you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dubai International | DXB / OMDB | Departure | The arrival recorded for this route in our own route data, and the airport all the distances and times on this page are calculated to. If a different field in the emirates suits your destination better, ask us - but we will quote that separately rather than reprint these figures against it. |
| Geneva | GVA / LSGG | arrival | 34,273 business-aviation movements in 2023, third in Europe (EBAA 2023). Geneva sits directly on the French frontier and has a French sector on the far side of the field, which occasionally matters if your party is coming up from the Haute-Savoie rather than from the city. Tell us which side you are arriving from and we will have you handled on the right one. |

Dubai has two airports and both take business jets. We quote Dubai International unless there is a reason not to. Al Maktoum International (DWC / OMDW), twenty nautical miles south-west of the city, is the alternative: open around the clock, with its own customs and immigration, and a 4,500 m runway that takes aircraft considerably larger than anything on this route.
Two things decide which one you arrive at, and neither of them is our preference. The first is slots: Dubai International is a level 3 slot-coordinated airport, which means demand for the schedule exceeds what the airport can take and every movement needs an allocated slot. Al Maktoum is level 2, where a slot is agreed rather than rationed. The second is parking: under Dubai International's own conditions of use, a business jet on the ground there for more than twenty-four hours has to be relocated to Al Maktoum. On a trip of several days that rule is usually what moves the aircraft.
The flight itself is the same either way - the two airports are less than a minute and a half apart at cruise, which is inside the error of any flight-time estimate. The drive is not the same: Al Maktoum is the closer of the two to Dubai Marina and the Palm, and the farther from Downtown and the financial district. Tell us the address you are heading to and we will say which airport makes the shorter journey for you.
Slot levels and airport data: AIP United Arab Emirates, AD 2 OMDB and AD 2 OMDW, AIRAC cycle 2026-P06, effective 6 August 2026. Twenty-four hour ground-time rule: Dubai Airports Conditions of Use, paragraph 3.13(j).
At 4,920 km range is the first constraint and everything else comes after it. A midsize cabin cannot make this nonstop, and a technical stop turns a six-and-a-half-hour flight into a nine-hour day with a fuel bill at an airport nobody wanted to visit. All three types below cross in one leg.
Our fleet page lists 13 to 19 passengers. The obvious answer when the party is large or when the same aircraft has to bring everybody home later in the week - at this distance the G550 is nowhere near its limits, so payload and fuel stop competing with each other.
See the Gulfstream G550 ›Listed at 13 to 14 passengers on our fleet page. A quieter cabin than the seat count suggests, and the type people ask for when the six and a half hours are meant to be worked rather than slept through. Ask about the cabin communications fit when you enquire; it varies aircraft by aircraft.
See the Global 5000 ›Listed at 13 to 16 passengers. Three engines rather than two, which some passengers care about over water and desert and others do not think about at all. It also gets into shorter runways than the other two, which matters more for where you go next than for Geneva or Dubai.
See the Falcon 7X ›All three types have their own pages on this site. Passenger figures above are taken from those pages, not from a manufacturer brochure.

We have found no published price for Dubai to Geneva from a source we would be prepared to reprint, so treat the figure above as a floor rather than a quotation. What follows is what actually sets the number on a sector this long.
On a six-and-a-half-hour sector the flying really is the bulk of the bill, which makes this route behave very differently from the short European hops elsewhere on this site. Landing and handling fees stop being decisive; the aircraft's hourly cost, the crew duty day and the positioning legs at each end take over. Two things move the number more than anything else. The first is whether the aircraft is already in the right hemisphere: a long-range jet sitting in Geneva or Nice at the end of the ski season is a different proposition from one that has to be flown up from somewhere to collect you. The second is the return. If you are back inside a few days, keeping the aircraft and crew with you in Dubai is often cheaper than two separate one-way sectors, because it saves a positioning leg at both ends rather than one. Tell us the shape of the whole trip, not just the outbound.
Published market rates for long-range jets in Europe run from about 8,500 EUR an hour at the bottom of the published range to 20,100 EUR an hour at the top; dollar-quoted sources put the same class at 12,000 to 17,000 USD an hour. Those are published market rates collected from broker price pages in August 2026, not our rates, and they are shown only so that you have something to measure a quotation against.
Our route data puts the busy window on this pairing from December to March, with a second peak from June to September. Those are the months the Geneva end is busiest, and they are worth planning around, because a long-range jet standing in Switzerland in February is a contested asset.
| Period | What happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| December to March | The Alpine season. Every long-range aircraft with a European base is worth more in Switzerland during these months than it is anywhere else, and the ones not committed to ski transfers are being asked for by everyone else. | Book four to six weeks out, and expect the aircraft to be confirmed later than the price. Saturdays are the worst day of the week to ask. |
| June to September | The secondary peak in our route data. The pattern reverses at the far end: this is when Gulf traffic tends to run towards Europe rather than away from it, so the empty capacity is often pointing the wrong way for a Geneva departure. | Two to three weeks is usually enough. Ask about the return direction separately - it can price quite differently from the outbound. |
| April, May, October, November | The quiet shoulder at both ends, and the part of the year when aircraft are repositioning between the European season and the Gulf one. | The best months to ask about an empty leg, and the best months to get a long-range cabin at short notice. |
Seasonality for this pairing is taken from our own route research file for diamond.aero, which classifies each published route by its demand window. Movement counts are EBAA 2023 as published by Private Jet Card Comparisons, 4 June 2024.
