Courchevel to Paris is 508 km and about 1 h 03 of jet time into Le Bourget, and the interesting part happens before the jet. Courchevel Altiport is a short, steeply sloping strip flown visually by specially qualified crews, so most parties leave the mountain by helicopter and join the jet in the valley. Indicative price from €3 000 for the whole aircraft, one way. Tell us where you are staying and the operations desk will shape the day around it, on +357 95 119759.
An hour in the air between a ski resort and the busiest business-aviation airport in Europe — and a ground plan that matters more than the hour. Whole aircraft, single seats and empty legs.
REQUEST A QUOTEOn paper this is one of the shortest sectors on this website: 508 km, a little over an hour, comfortably inside a light jet with the cabin full. In practice Courchevel is not an ordinary departure point and it would be dishonest to describe it as one. The altiport sits high above the resort, its strip is short and pronouncedly uphill, there is no instrument approach to it, and the crews who fly in hold a specific qualification for the place. It works in daylight and in acceptable weather rather than around the clock. So we plan a Courchevel departure as a journey with two moving parts, and the part people underestimate is the first one.
There are two questions here and only one is about Paris. The Paris end has a clear default. The Courchevel end is a choice between leaving from the mountain and leaving from a valley airport, and it is worth making deliberately, because the answer changes with the aircraft, the weather and the number of you.
| Airport | Codes | Role on this route | Suits you if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Courchevel Altiport | CVF / LFLJ | Departure, mountain | The resort’s own strip, minutes from the pistes, and the reason this route is asked about at all. Short, sloping, no instrument approach, flown in daylight and acceptable weather by specially qualified crews, and used in practice by helicopters and short-field turboprops. If your aircraft and crew are approved and the day is flyable, it is the shortest transfer from chalet to seat that exists. |
| Chambéry Savoie | CMF / LFLB | Valley jet airport | The nearest business-aviation field of any size to the Trois Vallées and the commonest jet departure for parties leaving Courchevel. A helicopter shuttle takes minutes; the road takes far longer. It has its own weather days, which is a reason to leave margin rather than to avoid it. |
| Geneva | GVA / LSGG | Valley jet airport, larger | Further away and much better supplied. When the party is large or the weather has closed the Savoie options, Geneva is the field that still has an aeroplane on it. Geneva to Paris is a route we publish in its own right at 409 km and about 56 minutes. |
| Paris Le Bourget | LBG / LFPB | Arrival | Where this traffic lands and the field every figure here is measured to. Wholly given over to business aviation, eight kilometres from the périphérique, and with 55,751 movements in 2023 the busiest such airport in Europe. Night movements are restricted, rarely the binding constraint on a daylight departure. |

508 km asks nothing of an aeroplane. Every light jet on our fleet pages crosses it with the cabin full and hours of fuel to spare, so neither range nor speed decides this route. What decides it is which field the jet starts from. The three types below are what we put forward for the sector into Le Bourget.
Six to eight passengers, 3,650 km of range and a 2.27 m³ hold — and the only light jet on this website whose specification page lists a flight attendant. With ski luggage aboard, the hold is what separates it from the rest of the class.
See the Embraer Phenom 300 ›Six to seven passengers and 2,987 km of range. The economical answer for a small party, and the type most likely to be free at short notice out of a valley field in a busy February week.
See the Cessna Citation CJ2 ›Six to seven passengers, 3,232 km of range and a 2.07 m³ hold — more luggage volume than the CJ2 for the same seat count, and the choice when the hold runs out before the seats do.
See the Cessna Citation Bravo ›All three have their own pages in our fleet. A midsize cabin flies the sector just as easily: the constraint here has never been the aeroplane over France, it is the field in the mountains. See also luggage limits.

We have found no published whole-aircraft route price for Courchevel to Paris from a source we would reprint, so the figure above is calculated: the bottom of the published European light-jet hourly rate applied to the flight time on this page, rounded down. It is a floor derived from market rates, not a quotation — and here it needs a caveat most routes do not.
The caveat: that number prices the jet sector and nothing else. The helicopter shuttle down to the valley is a separate aircraft with its own rate — ours start at 750 EUR an hour on a Eurocopter AS350, before positioning, waiting and landing fees. A realistic Courchevel day is the sum of two aircraft, and we would rather say so here than discover it with you on the phone.
The other thing that moves the number is the calendar, further than the aircraft type does. In the February holiday weeks the whole region repositions the same aeroplanes on the same Saturdays, and a light jet out of the Savoie on a changeover day does not price like one on a Tuesday in March. Empty legs are common here for the same reason: the aircraft that brought somebody up has to go somewhere.

This is a ski route and it runs on a ski calendar, which makes it the mirror image of the Mediterranean pairings elsewhere on this site. Demand is concentrated into a few winter weeks, it is concentrated further into the Saturdays inside those weeks, and the whole Alpine region competes for the same aircraft on the same days. Read from the departure end the pattern is about changeover days rather than about months.
| Period | What happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The February holiday weeks | The peak of the Alpine year. School holidays stagger across the month, the resort turns over on Saturdays, and every operator is placing the same light jets on the same afternoons. A closed altiport on a changeover Saturday moves everybody to the valley at once. | Four to six weeks, and fix the ground plan before the aircraft. Tell us the chalet and the departure day and we work backwards from it. |
| December, January and March | The rest of the season, and much easier. Christmas forms a short spike, January is the quietest full month of the winter, and March combines reliable snow with thin demand. | Two to three weeks. March is the month to pick if the dates are yours, and January is where short notice is genuinely realistic. |
| June to September | The secondary season. Traffic is a fraction of the winter figure and the weather is kinder to a visual mountain approach. | One to two weeks is usually enough, and a departure from the altiport itself is more often achievable than in midwinter. |
| The shoulder weeks | Late April into May, and October into November. The lifts are shut, the resort is largely closed and the altiport keeps seasonal hours. | Ask before you plan. Sometimes the honest answer is that the valley is the only sensible departure, and we would rather say so in advance. |
Seasonality classification: routes_shortlist.csv, Diamond Executive Aero Services route research, 23 August 2026. Google search-suggestion evidence: "private jet courchevel to paris", measured 23 August 2026. Altiport operating periods are deliberately not quoted here in hours: they are seasonal, and we confirm them with the handling agent for your dates.
Le Bourget works as a hub as well as a destination, and a fair share of what comes off the mountain in the morning is somewhere else by the evening.
Paris to London is under an hour and one of the densest business-aviation corridors in Europe, which is why empty legs appear on it so regularly.
Paris to London ›Paris to Nice is 694 km and about 1 h 17 by our published figures — a way to finish a ski week somewhere warmer.
Paris to Nice ›The other Alpine route we publish from Le Bourget: 618 km and about 1 h 12 into Engadin Samedan.
