Private Jet Charter Paris to London

Paris to London is 380 km and about 0 h 54 in the air, Paris Le Bourget to Luton, normally on a light jet. From €9 000 for the whole aircraft, one way. Send the dates and the passenger count and a written quotation follows inside 30 minutes; the operations desk is staffed at every hour on +357 95 119759.

Out of Le Bourget and across the Channel in under an hour - the shortest sector we publish, and the one most often flown out and back inside a single working day. The decision that matters here is not the aeroplane. It is which of the three London fields puts you nearest the meeting.

The route at a glance

If business aviation in Europe has a signature route, this is it: brokers working from 2017 data named London-Paris the United Kingdom's most popular city pair within Europe. You leave from the largest business-aviation airport on the continent - Le Bourget recorded 55,751 movements in 2023, more than any other in Europe and more than twice London Luton's 26,661 - and you land at whichever of three London fields suits the address you are actually going to. At 380 km the flying is barely an hour, which is why every interesting number on this page belongs to the ground rather than to the air: how long from the car to the aircraft at this end, and how long from the aircraft to the meeting at the other.

Distance is the great-circle figure between airport coordinates from the OurAirports open dataset. The flight time is an estimate, not a measured block time: it comes from a simple model fitted to the flight times Diamond Executive Aero Services already publishes on this website, and it moves with airway routing, wind, slots and aircraft type. Your quotation carries the real schedule.

Which airports we use

The departure is settled before you ask: Le Bourget. The arrival is the whole of the decision on this sector - three London fields, minutes apart in the air and up to an hour apart on the road. Choose by where you are going, not by what the distance column says.

AirportCodesGreat-circle to Le BourgetSuits you if
Paris Le BourgetLBG / LFPB314 kmWhere the sector starts. The closest airport to central Paris and the busiest business-aviation field in Europe with 55,751 movements in 2023, laid out throughout for getting you out of a car and onto an aircraft. The one week to flag is the Paris Air Show, when Le Bourget's own ramp becomes the constraint - tell us early if your dates fall inside it.
London Biggin HillBQH / EGKBarrivalThe shortest of the three at 314 km from Le Bourget, and the arrival for south and south-east London, Kent and the City. The City is usually the point: this is a route flown by people whose diary rather than whose budget is the binding constraint, and Biggin Hill is where the road from the aircraft is shortest for them.
FarnboroughFAB / EGLF344 kmThe arrival for Surrey, Hampshire and west London. It handles business aviation and nothing else, with no scheduled operation to work around, so the walk from the aircraft to the car is the shortest of the three. It is also the London field that the one published price reference for this pairing was measured against.
London LutonLTN / EGGW380 kmThe arrival for north London and anything off the M1. It carries the widest choice of aircraft, which on a same-day departure out of Paris is often the reason it wins: the aeroplane that can actually reach Le Bourget by the hour you need may only be available at this end.

Aircraft for Paris to London

Three hundred and eighty kilometres is a light-jet sector and nothing more than that. The aeroplane is airborne for under an hour, so what you are buying is the departure time out of Le Bourget rather than the cabin you sit in. Where the type does start to matter is availability: on a short-notice departure the real question is which aircraft can be standing at Le Bourget by the hour you need, and that is usually what picks it.

Embraer Phenom 300

Six to eight passengers with a 2.27 cubic metre hold. It is the most commonly available type at all three London fields, which on this direction means it is also the easiest one to have positioned into Le Bourget at short notice.

See the Embraer Phenom 300 ›

Cessna Citation CJ2+

Six to seven passengers, and the economical answer on a fifty-minute sector. The difference in comfort from a wider cabin is genuinely hard to notice before the aircraft is on the ground again at the other end.

See the Cessna Citation CJ2+ ›

Citation Bravo

Six to seven passengers and 2.07 cubic metres of hold, unhurried and quiet. A sensible choice for the day return that is carrying documents and samples rather than suitcases.

All three types are on our own fleet pages. A board of eight or more crosses on a Citation XLS+ or a Hawker 800XP, which fly the same sector to the same schedule.

When to fly, and when to book early

This route runs on a working calendar rather than a holiday one, which makes it the easiest sector on this site to book in the months when every other route we publish is full.

PeriodWhat happensWhat to do
March to JuneThe heaviest business period of the year in both directions, and the season in which the day return is the normal shape of the trip.A week is usually enough. Book the return with the outbound: on a sector this short, having the aircraft wait in London normally costs less than sending it back to Paris empty and fetching it again.
July and AugustParis empties in August and this route empties with it. EUROCONTROL's analysis of European business flying found a pronounced July-August trough, with June and September the genuine peaks. The easiest and cheapest weeks of the year to fly it, and short notice is realistic throughout.
September to NovemberThe second business peak, with conference and exhibition traffic sitting on top of it at both ends. One to two weeks. Watch for the weeks when Le Bourget itself is hosting an event - on this direction that is a departure-end problem rather than an arrival-end one.
December to FebruaryQuiet apart from the fortnight around Christmas. Aircraft cross the Channel to reposition constantly through these months. The best empty-leg window on the route.

Questions we get about this route

How long is Paris to London once the ground time is counted?
Under an hour in the air: our model gives 0 h 54 to Luton over 380 km, and Biggin Hill is shorter still at 314 km. Add roughly fifteen minutes on the ground at each end, because at a business terminal you arrive shortly before departure rather than two hours ahead. On a sector this short those thirty minutes are a larger share of the journey than the flight time is, which is why the airport choice below is worth more attention than the aircraft choice.
Which London airport should we land at?
Whichever is nearest the address you are going to, not whichever is nearest Paris. Biggin Hill is the closest at 314 km, then Farnborough at 344 km, then Luton at 380 km - a difference of minutes in the air against a difference on London's roads that is routinely an hour. Biggin Hill for south and south-east London, Kent and the City; Farnborough for Surrey, Hampshire and west London; Luton for north London and the M1. Tell us where the meeting is and we will name the field.
Do we still need passports since Brexit?
Yes, in both directions. The United Kingdom is outside both the European Union and Schengen, so this is a full frontier crossing each way rather than an internal European flight. At a business aviation terminal the control is carried out beside the aircraft and adds minutes, not hours.
Can we go over and come back the same day?
It is the classic use of this route. The aircraft waits for you at the London field; on a sector this short, having it wait is almost always cheaper than sending it back to Paris and bringing it out again. Tell us the meeting time and we will build the day backwards from it, starting with the arrival rather than with the departure.
What does it cost?
Brokers publish Paris to Farnborough from around 9,000 EUR for the whole aircraft (retrieved August 2026). That is the only published reference we have for this pairing, and it was measured in this direction. Published European light-jet hourly rates run from about 2,900 EUR to about 7,300 EUR depending on the source. Because the sector is under an hour, where the aircraft happens to be standing before it collects you matters more here than on any other route we publish.
Why Le Bourget rather than Charles de Gaulle or Orly?
Because it is closer to central Paris than either, and because it exists for business aviation rather than merely tolerating it. It recorded 55,751 business-aviation movements in 2023, more than any other airport in Europe, and the whole infrastructure is built around getting you out of a car and onto an aircraft quickly. On a departure that is the entire argument.
Does the aircraft choice matter on a flight this short?
Less than on any other route we publish. All three types here are light jets: a Phenom 300 at six to eight passengers with a 2.27 cubic metre hold, a Citation CJ2+ at six to seven, a Citation Bravo at six to seven with 2.07 cubic metres. For a board of eight or more, a Citation XLS+ or Hawker 800XP flies the same sector. What usually settles it on a short-notice departure is not the cabin but which aeroplane can be at Le Bourget by the hour you need.
Are there empty legs going this way?
Frequently, because aircraft cross the Channel in both directions all week. An empty leg is a repositioning flight with nobody in the cabin, and brokers publish discounts of 50 to 75 percent on them. December to February is the best window on this route: the traffic is thin through those months but the repositioning is not. Current empty legs.
How late can we book?
We can have you airborne within four hours of confirmation, subject to aircraft and slot availability. This is one of the easiest sectors in Europe to arrange at short notice, because there are aircraft on both sides of the Channel. Call +357 95 119759 at any hour and you will be told straight away whether the timing works rather than promised and checked later.
