Paris to Ibiza by private jet takes about 1 h 50 min over 1,125 km, Paris Le Bourget to Ibiza, normally on a light / midsize jet. Indicative price from €7 600 for the whole aircraft, one way. Leaving is easy. Le Bourget exists for this and nothing else, and finding an aeroplane there is never the difficulty. Everything that needs planning on this trip is waiting at the far end, on an island with one runway and a ten-week year.
REQUEST A QUOTECompare the two ends by movements and you get one picture: 55,751 business-aviation movements at Le Bourget in 2023, the highest of any airport in Europe, against 14,383 at Ibiza. Compare them by calendar and you get the picture that actually governs your booking. Paris flies steadily for twelve months. Ibiza takes almost its entire year in about ten weeks, on a single runway it shares all summer with heavy scheduled traffic. Southbound, that asymmetry means the aircraft is the simple half of the arrangement and the arrival is the half we spend our time on.
There is no arrival to choose between - Ibiza has one field - so this section is not the usual comparison of options. It is a description of the airport you are landing at, because in season that airport, and not the aeroplane, is what your trip is arranged around. The Paris rows are short for the opposite reason: the departure decides itself.
| Airport | Codes | Great-circle | Suits you if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paris Le Bourget | LBG / LFPB | 1,125 km | Where the sector starts, and where practically every business-aviation departure from Paris starts. No scheduled traffic at all, several handling agents competing for you, the closest of the Paris fields to the centre, and a layout built for short ground times. The one week to raise with us is the Paris Air Show, when Le Bourget's own ramp becomes the constraint. |
| Paris Orly | ORY / LFPO | departure alternative | South of the city. Useful if the party is gathering in the southern suburbs, or in a peak week when Le Bourget handling is fully booked. Charles de Gaulle we use only when someone is arriving off an intercontinental flight and joining you straight from it. |
| Ibiza | IBZ / LEIB | arrival | The row that will shape your day. One runway, one terminal, shared through the summer with very heavy scheduled traffic. Business aviation is handled separately, but the arrival slot and the ramp parking are not separate, and from July onwards those two are the binding constraint rather than the supply of jets. If the aircraft has nowhere to park, it puts you down and leaves again - which is a price question as much as an operational one. Formentera is a short boat transfer from the port and belongs in the plan rather than in the morning. |

At 1,125 km, or 607 nautical miles, nothing about this sector strains a light jet, and 1 h 50 in the air is short enough that a light cabin is perfectly comfortable. So the choice is made on the ground: how many of you there are, how much is going out for the stay, and - the question people forget - whether the aeroplane is staying with you or flying home the same evening.
Six to eight passengers and a 2.27 cubic metre hold, the largest of the three. It is the most commonly available type at Le Bourget, which on a short-notice departure is usually what settles it: the real question is which aeroplane can be standing at the ramp by the hour you want to leave.
See the Phenom 300 ›A stand-up cabin and the type we propose most often once the party is a group rather than a couple. If the aircraft is going to turn round and come straight back after dropping you, this is usually the size at which that arrangement still prices well.
See the Citation XLS+ ›A wider cabin with a full galley and a separate lavatory, and the answer when a large party is going out for a fortnight with the luggage that implies. Also the one to ask about if you want the same aircraft to carry on to Palma or the mainland afterwards.
See the Hawker 800XP ›All three types are on our own fleet pages. Larger cabins are available on this route if the group needs them.

A single published price for Paris to Ibiza would be honest for about ten weeks of the year and misleading for the rest, which is why we do not print one. What we will do is show you the two or three shapes the same trip can take, priced separately, and let you pick.
On the southbound leg the variable that dominates is not the flying. It is what the aircraft does after it has put you down. In July and August Ibiza cannot park everything that lands on it, so the aeroplane frequently has to leave again empty, and that departure is in your number whether or not it appears as a line. A same-day return with the aircraft waiting for you is a different price again, and in high season it is sometimes not arrangeable at all - not because of money but because there is no stand. Outside the season the picture inverts: nothing is going to the island, so an aeroplane is positioned down for you, and that leg is what you are paying for. The one thing that stays constant is the Paris end. Le Bourget is the largest business-aviation field in Europe and there is nearly always something suitable on it, so we are almost never quoting you for the difficulty of finding an aircraft.
For the class, brokers publish hourly references you can check any quotation against, ours included: brokers quote EUR 4,600-9,700 per hour across light to midsize jets in Europe, others quote from EUR 2,900-3,500 per hour (19.02.2026) and brokers USD 3,750-4,600 per hour (August 2026). They are rates for a category of aeroplane, not a price for this sector, and they exclude landing and handling, Spanish airport charges at the arrival end, and any night the aircraft spends on the island in high season - the item most likely to surprise you.
Only one end of this route has a season, and it is the end you are flying to. Paris does not thin out in August or fill up in June; Ibiza does both, violently, and the outbound direction is the one that fills first. Read the rows below as a description of the island, because that is what your lead time is really governed by.
| Period | What happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| May and June | The island is open and not yet full, and operators are moving aircraft south into the Mediterranean for the summer anyway - which is the direction you are going. | A week or ten days is enough, and these are the weeks in which a southbound repositioning flight going your way is most likely to exist. Ask about both at the same time. |
| July and August | Maximum pressure at the arrival end. Arrival slots, handling windows and overnight stands are rationed long before aircraft are, and an aeroplane that brings you in will normally have to leave again straight away. | Four weeks or more, and fix the arrival slot before you discuss the cabin. Tell us at the enquiry whether the aircraft needs to stay on the island - on this sector that answer is part of the price rather than a detail. |
| September and October | The tail of the season. The island is still working in September and empties through October, while the fleet begins turning back north - so southbound flights are increasingly ones that have to be brought down for you rather than ones already heading that way. | Two weeks in September, and less than that in October. If your dates are movable, the return direction is where the empty legs are in these months. |
| November to April | The route effectively stops. Very little flies to Ibiza and the ground pressure disappears entirely, so nothing at the arrival end constrains you. | Short notice is realistic and the aeroplane will not be the difficulty - Le Bourget always has something. Expect a positioning leg in the quotation and ask for it to be shown separately. |
The island is often one half of a trip rather than the whole of it. Formentera is reached by boat from the port, Mallorca is a few minutes in the air, and the Riviera is close enough that people routinely add a leg rather than fly home and out again.
One of the shortest hops we operate, and the usual addition when a group splits between the two islands or joins a boat on the other one. Same aircraft, same day.
Ibiza to Palma ›The common second half of a Mediterranean fortnight taken in two places. Ask for it at the enquiry and we will price the whole trip once instead of twice.
Ibiza to Nice ›The return to Le Bourget, and the direction in which this corridor throws off empty legs once the season starts to close. Worth asking about in the same conversation as the outbound.
Ibiza to Paris ›Tell us your dates and how many of you there are. Your dedicated flight advisor will come back with aircraft options and a firm price.
