Paris to Naples is 1,292 km, about 2 h 03 min in the air, Paris Le Bourget to Naples Capodichino, normally on a light or midsize jet. We do not publish a fixed one-way figure for this pair - give us the dates and the passenger count and a written quotation follows within 30 minutes; the operations desk is staffed at every hour on +357 95 119759.
South to the Bay of Naples in about 2 h 03 on a light or midsize jet. For most parties Capodichino is not the destination but the gateway - Capri, Ischia, Positano and the Amalfi coast are all reached from it, and none of them by aeroplane. Arranged 24/7.
REQUEST A QUOTETwo hours in the air and then a second journey that the jet does not fly. That is the shape of this route, and it is why the planning belongs at the Naples end. Capodichino sits close to the city and is a straightforward arrival; what needs arranging in advance is what happens after it, because Capri has no airport at all and the Amalfi coast is reached by helicopter, boat or road. From June to September the whole coast runs at capacity in the same weeks you want to be there.
A simple pair by European standards: a choice at the Paris end, effectively none at the Naples end, and the real decision waiting for you after you land. Le Bourget is the default departure for the same reason it always is - no scheduled traffic to queue behind. Capodichino is where the bay begins.
| Airport | Codes | Distance | Suits you if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paris Le Bourget | LBG / LFPB | 1,292 km | Your departure and the default. Le Bourget takes no scheduled traffic whatsoever, sits just north-east of the city, and has a choice of handling agents on the field - which is why the deepest pool of available jets in Europe sits there. For a southbound summer departure it is also where you are most likely to be offered an aircraft that is already in position. |
| Paris Orly | ORY / LFPO | departure alternative | Your morning starts in the southern or south-western half of Paris, or Le Bourget cannot take you at the hour you want. Orly accepts business jets, but it is a scheduled airport and you queue with airline traffic for slots and stands. |
| Naples Capodichino | NAP / LIRN | arrival | Where the sector ends and where the rest of the journey is arranged. Capodichino is close in to the city, which is unusual and useful, and it is the point of departure for Capri, Ischia, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. In the June to September peak give us the hour you want to be on the ground rather than only the date, because the onward helicopter or car has to be confirmed against it. |

1,292 km sits at the top of the light jet band and the bottom of the midsize one, which is why the fleet on this sector is mixed. About 2 h 03 in the air. Flying south in July the decision is usually made by the hold rather than by the range: a family going for a fortnight travels with a fortnight's luggage, and that is a cabin-size question.
The light jet that covers this sector comfortably, and the type most likely to be standing at Le Bourget already - which is what keeps a positioning leg off a southbound quotation.
See the Phenom 300 ›A stand-up midsize cabin and the usual choice for a family or a group heading south for a week. Two hours in the air is long enough for the extra cabin height to register.
See the Citation XLS+ ›The step up when the luggage rather than the party is the problem: a full galley, a separate lavatory and the hold volume for a long summer stay on the coast. That is what you are packing for on the way out rather than on the way home.
See the Hawker 800XP ›All three types are on our own fleet pages. Heavier cabins can be arranged on this sector too.
We do not publish a fixed one-way price for Paris to Naples, and we did not find one from a source we would be willing to reprint on our own website. Rather than invent a number, here is what genuinely moves the price on this pair, plus the published hourly ranges for the class so that you can sanity-check any quotation you are shown.
On this pairing the calendar counts for more than the distance. Flown in March and flown in the first week of August, the identical sector is not the same product: in the summer the whole southbound fleet is committed, the aircraft that takes you down is less likely to be free to come straight back, and where it waits while you are on the coast becomes part of your bill rather than a detail. A same-day return, a longer stay with the aircraft released, and a stay with the aircraft held for you are three different prices for the same flying.
For a sense of scale rather than a quotation: brokers publish an indicative European range of EUR 4,600-9,700 per flying hour for this class (LunaJets, Europe, undated), others publish from EUR 2,900-3,500 per hour (Eurosky, 19 February 2026), and others publish USD 3,750-4,600 per hour (Paramount Business Jets, August 2026). Those are hourly rates for the aircraft class across Europe, not a price for this sector, and they carry no positioning, handling or taxes. Multiply one of them by 2 h 03 and you have left out the crew day, the landing and handling at both ends and, in the season you are most likely flying in, the parking. Also worth asking about separately: the onward helicopter or car to Capri or the Amalfi coast, which belongs in the quotation you read before you fly rather than in the invoice you read afterwards.
This is a summer route with a sharp shape. The Bay of Naples fills from June and empties again in October, and in those months you are competing for the same weeks as everybody else on the coast. Outside them it becomes one of the easier and cheaper southbound sectors in Europe.
| Period | What happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| June to September | The Mediterranean peak, and the weeks when everybody wants to travel the way you are travelling. The pressure is on the coast rather than in the air: hotels, berths, helicopters and cars are all committed early, and the aircraft that flies you down is less likely to be free to turn straight round. | Four to six weeks out for a July or August date. Give us the arrival hour and not only the day, so that the onward leg to Capri or the coast can be confirmed against it before you commit. |
| May and October | The shoulder weeks, and for many parties the best of the year: the coast is open and working but not full, and the fleet has not yet fully committed to the summer or has begun to come back off it. | Value and availability in the same weeks. If your dates bend at all, this is the window in which to ask for a southbound repositioning flight. |
| July and August specifically | The tightest fortnights of the peak, when the constraint stops being the aeroplane and becomes everything waiting for you on the ground. | Book the ground and the air together, through us, rather than separately. Tell us where you are actually staying, because that decides whether the last leg is a helicopter, a car or a boat. |
| November to April | The off-season on this route. The coast is quiet, the southbound fleet is uncommitted, and Naples is an easy field to get into at short notice. | The cheapest and most flexible months to fly this sector, and a realistic window for a same-day or next-day departure. Ask what is repositioning south - in these weeks it is often something. |
For most parties Capodichino is the connection rather than the destination. Capri has no airport at all, and the Amalfi coast has none either, so the last part of the journey is flown by helicopter, driven or taken by boat - and in August it is the part that is hardest to arrange late.
None of them has an airport. Every arrival comes through Naples and continues by helicopter, car or boat. We arrange the helicopter leg alongside the jet rather than leaving you to find one in August.
Helicopter charter ›Rome is close enough to Naples that parties often build both into one itinerary. Priced as one journey rather than two separate charters, it usually works out better.
Paris to Rome ›The seasonal swing sends aircraft south in the spring and back north in the autumn. If your dates bend at all, that is where the saving on this route is.
Current empty legs ›Tell us your dates and how many of you there are. Your dedicated flight advisor will come back with aircraft options and a firm price.
All published routes are listed on the route index. Also useful: the fleet, current empty legs, jet sharing.
