Ibiza to Saint-Tropez is 644 km, about 1 h 14 in the air, Ibiza to La Mole Saint-Tropez on a light jet. La Mole has no runway lighting, so it is a daylight-only field; the usable landing distance is around 930 m, which sets a firm limit on the size of aircraft; and the crew needs a specific access authorisation for the valley approach. When the party or the schedule does not fit that, the honest answer is Nice or Cannes and a road transfer. A written quotation follows inside 30 minutes; +357 95 119759 answers at any hour.
The summer sector between the two ports, flown in a little over an hour. The whole question on this route is whether your trip fits La Mole, and we would rather answer it before you book than after.
REQUEST A QUOTETwo Mediterranean fields, one of them easy and one of them particular. The particular one is worth the trouble when it fits.
Three fields matter here. Which one you use is decided by the size of the party, the luggage and the hour of the day.
| Field | Code | Role on this route | What decides it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ibiza | IBZ / LEIB | Departure | The island field, business aviation handling alongside the summer traffic. In August, slots are the constraint |
| La Mole Saint-Tropez | LTT / LFTZ | Arrival, when it fits | About 930 m usable landing distance, no runway lighting so daylight only, crew access authorisation required. Light jets and turboprops |
| Nice Cote d Azur | NCE / LFMN | The fallback that always works | Takes anything, operates at night, about 1 h 20 by road to Saint-Tropez in summer traffic |
| Cannes Mandelieu | CEQ / LFMD | Middle option | Closer than Nice by road, still short of La Mole in convenience, and subject to its own size limits |
Runway figures, the absence of lighting and the crew authorisation requirement at La Mole are published aerodrome facts. Road times are typical summer running times and can be far longer on a Saturday in August.
La Mole decides this list, not the distance. An hour and a quarter is within reach of almost anything; the runway is not.
One of the aircraft most often seen at La Mole. Up to seven seats, and performance that suits the valley approach and the short landing distance.
Phenom 300 →Smaller again, and the easier answer when the party is four to six with real summer luggage rather than hand baggage.
Citation CJ2 →When the group is eight or the arrival is after dark, the sensible trip is a midsize jet into Nice and a car. Slower on paper, and the one that actually happens.
Citation XLS+ →We do not publish a starting price for Ibiza to Saint-Tropez. In July and August this sector is priced by what is physically available on the day rather than by a rate card, and a published figure would be out of date the week it appeared. Below are hourly rates other people publish for light jets in Europe.
| Reference | Applies to | Published figure | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whole aircraft, this route | Ibiza to Saint-Tropez | not published | We hold no route price for this pairing and will not invent one. The written quotation against your dates is the only price |
| Hourly rate, light jets | Europe | 4,600 – 7,300 EUR per hour | Broker published range, undated, retrieved 2026 |
| Hourly rate, from | Europe | from 2,900 EUR per hour | Broker published range, 19.02.2026 |
| Hourly rate, quoted in dollars | Light jets | 3,750 – 4,200 USD per hour | Broker published range, August 2026 |
| Empty leg | varies with the day | brokers publish discounts of 50 – 75% | Broker price pages, retrieved 2026 |
Two things move this price and neither is the hour in the air. The first is August itself: both ends are at their busiest, and aircraft that are already in the western Mediterranean cost less to use than aircraft that have to be brought there. The second is parking, at La Mole in particular, where space is limited and the aircraft frequently cannot wait for you. Ask what is already repositioning your way as well: this corridor throws off empty legs through the season, and an empty leg means taking the operator date and roughly the operator hour in exchange for the discount.
The figures above are third-party published rates, quoted so you can sanity-check a quotation. They are not our prices and they are not a quotation. The only price we stand behind is the written one against your dates.
A summer route in the strict sense. Outside the season, half of what makes it attractive is closed.
| Period | What happens | What to do about it |
|---|---|---|
| June to September | Peak both ends. La Mole parking and Ibiza slots are the two constraints | Book dates early and ask about parking in the first message |
| August Saturdays | The hardest days of the year on this pairing | Fly midweek if the plan allows, or accept Nice and the road |
| May and October | Shoulder. Good availability, everything still open | The best value weeks on this route |
| November to April | La Mole services reduce sharply and the reason to fly here thins out | Confirm with us what is open before planning around it |
Where this trip usually continues, and the alternative arrival that saves it when La Mole does not fit.
The fallback that always works, at the cost of about an hour and twenty in a car. We will offer it plainly rather than hide it.
Ibiza to Nice →Short hop or helicopter along the coast. Frequently the second half of the same trip, and quoted with it rather than after it.
Paris to Monaco →Palma and Ibiza both fly this corridor through the season, and the return often exists as an empty leg.
Palma to Nice →Tell us your dates and how many of you there are. Your dedicated flight advisor will come back with aircraft options and a firm price.
