Private Jet Charter Ibiza to Larnaca

Ibiza to Larnaca is 2,888 km and about 4 h 03 non-stop, a super-midsize sector from one end of the Mediterranean to the other. Indicative price from €17 000 for the whole aircraft, one way. Larnaca is our own home base, which on this route is a practical fact rather than a boast: the aircraft is frequently already at the far end. +357 95 119759, any hour.

Four hours east, the full width of the Mediterranean, from the busiest four months of the Balearic season to an island with a much longer one. Both countries are in the European Union, so there are no customs questions – but Cyprus sits outside Schengen, so passports are checked. Whole aircraft, single seats and empty legs, arranged 24/7.

The route at a glance

The longest sector we publish out of Ibiza, and the one where the departure end is harder than the arrival. Ibiza has one runway, a compact business-aviation apron and 14,383 business-aviation movements in 2023 on an island of 570 square kilometres. Larnaca is the island's main business-aviation gateway and the practical airport for Nicosia and Limassol – and our own desk sits there, staffed around the clock, so a landing at an awkward hour is a scheduling question rather than an operational one.

Distance
2,888 km
Great-circle between airport coordinates, Ibiza to Larnaca; the track actually flown is longer than the straight line
Flight time
approx. 4 h 03
A model estimate rather than a measured block time, and the model takes no view of direction. Routing across the Mediterranean moves it more than wind does
Departure
IBZ
Ibiza LEIB, one runway, separate business-aviation handling, shared slot and shared ramp; about seven kilometres from Ibiza Town
Arrival
LCA
Larnaca LCLK, the island's main business-aviation gateway and the practical field for Nicosia, Limassol and the east; Paphos is 93 km shorter and an hour further west by road
Typical aircraft
Super-midsize
Non-stop with the cabin full; a midsize does it with a lighter load, and we will say where the limit falls
Our base
Cyprus
On this direction the aircraft is often already at the arrival end, which affects the positioning line rather than the flying
The distance is a great-circle figure between airport coordinates, so the track actually flown is longer than it. The time is a model estimate and not a measured block time: the model is fitted to flight times Diamond Executive Aero Services already publishes on this website, it makes no distinction between the outbound and the return, and routing, wind, slots and aircraft type all move it. The schedule in your quotation is the real one.

Which airports we use

One departure and two arrivals, and the two arrivals are ninety-three kilometres apart in the air – which is nothing – and an hour apart by road, which is not. The island is small; the drive across it is not trivial in August.

Aircraft for Ibiza to Larnaca

Nearly three thousand kilometres with a full cabin is super-midsize work, and at the end of a summer stay the cabin is usually full in both senses. We quote what crosses it without a trade rather than what crosses it exactly.

Super-midsize

The default and the honest recommendation for a whole-aircraft charter with everybody aboard: non-stop, four hours, a cabin you can work or sleep in rather than simply occupy.

Midsize jet

Non-stop with a lighter load and a shorter passenger list, and a real saving when it fits. We will name the limit before you choose rather than discover it at the weigh-in.

Heavy jet

For a larger party, for a night sector where sleeping matters, or when Cyprus is a staging point for somewhere further east rather than the destination.

What it costs

Indicative price from €17 000 for the whole aircraft, one way. A floor for a sensible aircraft on an ordinary day – and on this particular sector the floor is more meaningful than usual, because of where our fleet lives.

The cabin moves it most. The second line is positioning, and this is where Cyprus helps: an aircraft based at the arrival end can fly out empty to collect you and come back with you aboard, which is frequently cheaper than bringing one across Europe and sending it away again. Whether that applies on your dates is the first thing we check.

Against it sits the island end. In the peak weeks a departure slot and a parking space at Ibiza are genuinely scarce, and scarcity at one end prices the whole sector. Mid-week departures and hours outside the weekend exodus are the practical remedies, along with empty legs – which on this corridor tend to run westbound, when our aircraft go to collect.

When to fly, and when to book early

Ibiza runs June to September and Cyprus runs considerably longer, so the two seasons overlap at the start and part company at the end. September and early October are the sweet spot on this route: the island end has loosened and the Cyprus end is still warm.

Book early for August at the departure end. The constraint is the Ibiza slot and apron rather than the aircraft, and on this sector the aircraft is the half we can most often solve ourselves. If the party includes children on their own documents, send the details early – in summer that is the commonest source of delay at the passport desk, and it is entirely avoidable.

Outside the peak, short notice is comfortable. Our desk being on the island rather than in another time zone is the practical reason a late enquiry gets a real answer instead of a call back.

Onward from Larnaca

Cyprus sits within short reach of three regions, and once the aircraft is on the island the next sector is inexpensive by comparison with the one that brought it.

Larnaca to Ibiza

The return crossing, and the half most parties book at the same time. Booking both together usually costs less than two one-way flights and secures the island slot in advance.

Larnaca to Beirut

Forty minutes east, and the shortest international sector we publish. A common second stop when the week covers both sides of the eastern Mediterranean.

Questions we get about this route

How long is Ibiza to Larnaca, and does it go non-stop?
About 4 h 03 in the air over 2,888 km, non-stop on a super-midsize with the cabin full, or on a midsize with a lighter load. The flying figure is a model estimate fitted to the flight times we publish ourselves rather than a measured block time, and the model takes no view of direction.
What are the border formalities?
Cyprus is a member of the European Union but is not part of the Schengen area; Spain is in both. That means passport control applies at both ends, in both directions. Because both countries are in the Union, the customs questions attaching to a flight from outside it do not arise. At business-aviation terminals the check is a desk beside the aircraft and a matter of minutes.
Larnaca or Paphos?
Larnaca for Nicosia, Limassol, Ayia Napa and Protaras, and it is where our own desk sits. Paphos for the west of the island – Paphos itself, Coral Bay, Polis. The ninety-three kilometres between them are meaningless in the air and about an hour by road, so tell us the address rather than the island.
Does your being based in Cyprus actually change the price?
On this direction it can, materially. An aircraft based at the arrival end can fly out empty to collect you and return with you aboard, which is frequently cheaper than bringing one across Europe and sending it away again. Whether it applies on your dates is the first thing we check, and we will tell you which case you fall into rather than claim the advantage in general.
What does €17 000 include, and what moves it?
It is an indicative floor for the whole aircraft, one way. The cabin moves it most; then positioning; then the departure slot and parking at Ibiza in the peak weeks, which is the line least under our control.
Can we do it out and back in a day?
No, not realistically – four hours each way plus time on the ground exceeds a normal crew duty period. The honest choices are the aircraft waiting for you, a crew overnight, or a second crew, and which is cheapest depends on the length of your stay. We will price them rather than choose for you.
Are there empty legs on this corridor?
Yes, and they tend to run westbound – our aircraft going out to collect. Being based at the Cyprus end we see them early. The discount range brokers publish is 50 to 75 percent, and the trade is that the date and roughly the hour are fixed. Current empty legs
How late can we book?
Outside the peak, comfortably late, and our desk being on the island means a late enquiry gets a real answer rather than a call back. In August the Ibiza slot is the binding constraint and needs weeks rather than days. Call the operations desk on +357 95 119759, staffed twenty-four hours a day.
