Larnaca to Athens is 930 km west, about 1 h 35 min in the air, Larnaca to Athens, normally on a light / midsize jet. Give us the dates and the passenger count and a written quotation follows within 30 minutes; the operations desk is staffed at every hour on +357 95 119759.
The short crossing of the eastern Mediterranean, and the one sector on this list that starts where we are based. Larnaca is our own airport: the crew, the handling and the operations desk at the departure end are ours to arrange directly. Arranged 24/7.
REQUEST A QUOTE930 km straight across the water, which on a light jet is about an hour and a half. On a sector this short the flying is the least of it: the time you actually save against a scheduled ticket is won on the ground, in the fifteen minutes at each end that a business-aviation terminal takes rather than the two hours a terminal building takes. The departure end is ours, so that half of the day is arranged by the people who work there.
Two main airports, one at each end, and one alternative worth knowing about if your week starts in the west of Cyprus rather than the east.
| Airport | Codes | Distance | Suits you if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Larnaca | LCA / LCLK | 930 km | Your departure, and our own base. The island's main business-aviation gateway: best for Nicosia, Ayia Napa, Protaras and the eastern half of Limassol. Aircraft, crew and handling at this end are organised by us directly rather than through a chain of brokers, which is why the departure half of the day is the straightforward half. |
| Paphos | PFO / LCPH | alternative departure | The right start if you are staying in Paphos or Polis and would rather not drive the length of the island first. Handling and aircraft availability are thinner here than at Larnaca, so ask early and we will tell you straight away what can be positioned. |
| Athens | ATH / LGAV | arrival | Where the sector ends. The mainland gateway for the city itself, for the Attica coast and for the onward hop to the Cyclades, which for most parties continues from here by helicopter or by boat rather than by jet. Tell us the hour you want to be on the ground in Athens and we will work the departure back from it. |

930 km is comfortably inside the light jet band, so this is one of the sectors where the range question never really arises. About 1 h 35 in the air. What settles the choice is the number of seats you need filled and what travels in the hold behind them.
The default for this crossing. A light jet with the legs for 930 km several times over, and the type most likely to be free at short notice on a corridor we work regularly.
See the Phenom 300 ›A stand-up midsize cabin for a family or a working group. On a ninety-five minute sector the extra cabin height matters less than the seats, but if you are going straight into a meeting on arrival it earns its place.
See the Citation XLS+ ›The step up when the luggage is the constraint rather than the party: a full galley, a separate lavatory and hold volume for a group continuing to the islands for a fortnight.
See the Hawker 800XP ›All three types are on our own fleet pages. Larger cabins can be arranged on this sector too.
We publish no fixed figure for Larnaca to Athens. A number that ignores your dates, your passenger count and which aircraft is genuinely free that week is not a price, and on a short sector like this one it would be wrong by more than the sector is worth.
What does exist in public is a handful of third-party numbers, and you may as well have them. LunaJets lists EUR 12,800 for a Citation Mustang, EUR 20,100 for a Hawker 850XP and EUR 24,000 for a Gulfstream GIV-SP on Larnaca to Athens, and EUR 11,200, EUR 18,400 and EUR 21,700 for the same three types flown Athens to Larnaca. Paramount Business Jets lists this route from EUR 17,000. Both pages are undated and were retrieved on 23 August 2026, and neither describes our aircraft or our quotation.
The other public reference points are hourly rates for the class rather than prices for the route. Brokers publish EUR 4,600 to 9,700 per hour for European light and midsize jets, others quote from EUR 2,900 to 3,500 per hour, and others publish USD 3,750 to 4,600 per hour, all retrieved in 2026. They are useful for checking a quotation and useless for building one: multiply an hourly rate by 1 h 35 and you have left out the crew day, the landing and handling fees at both ends, and whether the aircraft waits at Athens for you or is released and has to come back.

One season rather than two, and it is the obvious one. The eastern Mediterranean fills from June, empties from October, and the two months on either side of the peak are where the availability and the value sit together.
| Period | What happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| June to September | The Mediterranean summer, and the busiest stretch of the year at both ends of this sector. Aircraft that would otherwise sit in Cyprus are working, and Athens is the gateway for everyone heading on to the islands. | Book earlier than you would in the winter, and give us the arrival hour rather than only the date, so the handling window at Athens is confirmed before you commit. |
| May and October | The shoulder either side of the peak. The weather has turned but the season has not started, or it has just ended and the fleet has not yet stood down. | The window where availability and value coincide. If your dates bend by a day or two, ask us what is repositioning through Larnaca in that week. |
| November to April | Outside the summer pattern. Cyprus works a normal business calendar all year, so the traffic on this corridor does not stop; it simply stops competing with holiday demand. | The easiest months to buy at short notice. A same-week departure is realistic and often a same-day one. |
For plenty of parties Athens is where the journey changes vehicle rather than where it ends. The Cyclades are close enough that the last leg is usually a helicopter or a boat, and both are easier to arrange alongside the jet than after it.
The hop from Athens out to the Cyclades is normally flown by helicopter rather than by jet. We arrange that leg alongside the aircraft rather than leaving you to find one on arrival in August.
Helicopter charter ›Athens is a departure point on our own route list as well as an arrival, whether the next leg runs north-west into Europe or back east.
Athens to London ›Aircraft reposition between Cyprus and the Greek mainland often enough to be worth asking about. If your dates bend at all, this is where the saving is.
Current empty legs ›Tell us your dates and how many of you there are. Your dedicated flight advisor will come back with aircraft options and a firm price.
All published routes are listed on the route index. Also useful: the fleet, current empty legs, jet sharing.
