London to Antalya is a 2,949 km sector of about 4 h 08 in the air, London Luton to Antalya, and a super-midsize jet flies it non-stop with the cabin full and the hold loaded. Indicative price from €35 900 for the whole aircraft, one way. Send the dates and a written quotation follows within 30 minutes; the operations desk answers at any hour on +357 95 119759.
Four hours south-east, from an English airfield to the Turkish Riviera, in one leg and without anybody being asked to travel light. In July the flying is the easy part and the calendar is the hard part.
REQUEST A QUOTENearly three thousand kilometres puts this at the comfortable end of super-midsize range rather than the edge of it, so the aircraft is rarely the problem. What defines the route is that it is almost entirely a summer one. Antalya in July and August handles an extraordinary volume of holiday traffic, and business aviation fits into a system built around that rather than the other way round. In May or in October the same trip is a different and far easier proposition, and the price reflects it.
Three departure fields in London that differ by an hour on the road and by minutes in the air, and at the other end a main airport with one genuine alternative that only helps if you are going to the right part of the coast. The Turkish Riviera is long, and where along it you are staying decides more than the aeroplane does.
| Airport | Codes | Codes | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|---|
| London Luton | LTN / EGGW | departure, default | Where most of this traffic leaves from, the widest choice of aircraft on any given day, and the field every distance and time on this page is measured from. It logged 26,661 business-aviation movements in 2023, among the busiest in Europe. |
| Farnborough and Biggin Hill | FAB / EGLF, BQH / EGKB | departure, alternatives | Farnborough takes no scheduled traffic at all and suits west London, the Thames Valley and Surrey; Biggin Hill suits the City, Canary Wharf, south London and Kent. On a four-hour sector the difference between the three in the air is a couple of minutes, so this is a road decision and nothing else. |
| Antalya | AYT / LTAI | arrival, default | The main airport of the Turkish Riviera, on the coast and close to the city, with business-aviation handling arranged separately from the scheduled terminals. In high summer it carries an enormous volume of holiday traffic, which shows up as pressure on handling and ground time rather than as any doubt about whether you can land. Every figure on this page is measured to it. |
| Gazipaşa | GZP / LTFG | arrival, eastern coast | East of Antalya and much the closer field for Alanya and the eastern resorts. It is a smaller airport with lighter handling, so it wants arranging in advance rather than assuming on the day — but for a party staying east along the coast it can remove a very long drive at the end of the journey. |

Turkish airports are outside the EBAA dataset. Which handling facility your aircraft uses at either end is confirmed with the agent for your dates rather than promised from a web page.
At 2,949 km with a full cabin this is a super-midsize sector, and all three types below cross it non-stop without anyone having to leave luggage behind so the aeroplane can carry fuel. Because this is a holiday route rather than a meeting route, the hold matters more here than on almost anything else we publish: four people travelling for a fortnight carry more than eight travelling for a day.
Eight to ten passengers, a flat floor and a hold that takes a summer’s luggage rather than a briefcase each. The commonest type on sectors of this length and usually the easiest to place when the dates are tight.
See the Bombardier Challenger 350 ›Nine to twelve passengers, and the most forgiving of the three about shorter runways — which is what makes it the sensible answer if the trip might end at Gazipaşa rather than Antalya.
See the Cessna Citation Sovereign ›Eight to ten passengers and the fastest of the three, with range well beyond what this sector asks. Worth the surplus when Antalya is the middle stop of a Mediterranean week rather than the end of the journey.
See the Gulfstream G280 ›All three have their own pages in our fleet. For a party of twelve with real luggage, ask about a Legacy 650 or a Challenger 605 instead — the sector is well inside their range and the hold is a different order of thing. Luggage limits by aircraft type are set out separately.

No published whole-aircraft route price for London to Antalya has reached us from a source we would be willing to reprint, so the figure above is calculated rather than quoted: the bottom of the published European super-midsize hourly range applied to the flight time on this page, rounded down. It is a floor derived from market rates, not our tariff.
One thing about that calculation deserves saying out loud. For the light, midsize and long-range classes our sources publish an explicit entry-level hourly rate — a figure labelled "from". For super-midsize they publish no such figure, so the number above rests on the bottom of a published range instead. That is a less conservative basis than we use elsewhere on this website, and the floor should be read with that in mind.
The variable that actually decides your number on this route is the week rather than the aeroplane. In late May or early October a quotation sits close to what the hourly references suggest. In the middle of August three things happen at once: everybody wants the same Friday, handling at the Antalya end is working at capacity, and ramp parking has to be arranged rather than assumed. If the aircraft cannot stay, it drops you and leaves — which is a different quotation from one where it waits. For a two-week stay, leaving is almost always the right answer; for three nights, waiting often is.

This is a seasonal route in the strongest sense: the difference between the middle of August and the middle of May is not a few percent, it is a different market. Read the table below before you fix dates, because on this corridor moving a trip by three weeks does more for the price than changing the aircraft does.
| Period | What happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| June to September | The season. Demand concentrates on Friday and Saturday departures out of London and on the return at the other end of the fortnight, and the Antalya end is working at capacity throughout. Ramp parking for an aircraft that intends to stay becomes something to arrange rather than assume. | Four to six weeks for a peak Friday in July or August. Fix the dates first and the aircraft second — the choice narrows before the price moves. |
| May and October | The shoulders, and much the best value of the year. The coast is open, the weather is good, the airport is working at an ordinary pace and the choice of aircraft on any given date is wide. | One to two weeks. If your dates can move at all, move them here: it is the same trip for appreciably less. |
| Weekend peaks in season | Within the summer, the pattern is weekly rather than monthly. Saturday outbound and the Saturday a fortnight later are the two hardest days of any given week to place an aircraft on. | Ask about a Thursday or a Sunday. A day either side of the crowd frequently changes the quotation more than anything else you can do. |
| November to April | The quiet half of the year on this pairing. The coast is out of season and the traffic is business-shaped and thin rather than absent. | Short notice is realistic and the route is easy to arrange. Handling at both ends keeps a lighter rhythm than in summer. |

Antalya is one end of a long coastline, and a fair number of parties treat it as the start of a Mediterranean fortnight rather than the whole of it.
Bodrum is the other Turkish coastal route we publish, and for a party moving between the two halves of the Aegean season it is the obvious second leg.
London to Bodrum ›London to Mykonos is a route we publish, and the Aegean season runs on both sides of the water at once.
London to Mykonos ›Cyprus is a short hop from the Turkish coast, and Larnaca is where our own operations desk sits.
