Vienna to Paphos is 1,987 km and about 2 h 55 in the air, nonstop. The useful thing to know about that number is that it sits just under three hours, which puts the sector at the comfortable end of the midsize range rather than requiring a super-midsize cabin – and a midsize cabin is the cheaper answer. We will quote both and say plainly where the difference is worth paying. At the far end Paphos is the quieter of the two Cyprus fields, closer to Limassol and the west coast, with handling arranged in advance rather than assumed. Our own floor is EUR 13,100 one way; the sum is below. Written quotation inside 30 minutes; +357 95 119759 at any hour.
Central Europe to the west of Cyprus nonstop in under three hours, with no connection and no terminal. Tell us the party and the dates and we will tell you what is genuinely available on them.
REQUEST A QUOTEA long south-eastern sector, routine for the aeroplanes that fly it, with a good departure airport at one end and a deliberately quiet one at the other. Almost everything worth deciding on this route is a choice rather than a constraint, which is not true of most of the list.
Handling and slot conditions change from season to season at both ends, and handling at Paphos is arranged in advance rather than taken for granted. We confirm both against your actual dates rather than against a general rule.
Two alternatives at the Austrian end that exist for quite different reasons, and a choice of Cyprus fields that turns entirely on which coast you are going to and how late you are arriving.
| Field | Codes | Role on this route | What decides it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vienna | VIE / LOWW | Departure | Full business-aviation handling with a dedicated general aviation centre, and straightforward at most hours. That is the entire entry: there is no slot argument to win and no curfew to work around, so the hour you ask for is usually the hour you get. |
| Bratislava | BTS / LZIB | Alternative departure | About 50 km from Vienna, quieter and often quicker on the ground. On a departure that matters more than on an arrival: the minutes saved between the car and the aircraft are minutes at the start of your day rather than at the end of it. Worth asking about when the morning is tight. |
| Salzburg | SZG / LOWS | Alpine alternative | For the mountains rather than the city, and busy in the ski weeks. If the week has actually been spent in the Alps, leaving from there rather than driving back to Vienna can save most of a morning. |
| Paphos | PFO / LCPH | Arrival | The western field, closer to Limassol and the west coast than Larnaca, and quieter on the ground – with handling arranged in advance rather than assumed. That is why we ask for the arrival hour at the enquiry rather than later. |
| Larnaca | LCA / LCLK | Alternative arrival | The busier Cyprus field, about 45 minutes by road from Limassol, with business-aviation handling at any hour. Often the better answer for a late arrival, or when the destination is on the eastern side of the island. |
This is the sector on our Cyprus list where the cabin question is genuinely open. Just under three hours is comfortable in a midsize aeroplane for a normal party, and a midsize aeroplane costs less. We quote both classes and tell you where the difference is worth paying rather than assuming it always is.
The super-midsize answer: a large cabin, stand-up height and range far beyond what this distance asks. Right when the party is large or the luggage is real.
Challenger 350 ›Comparable reach with a notably quiet cabin, and frequently the aeroplane that can be placed on your date when the Challenger cannot.
Legacy 500 ›Fast and long-legged for its class, worth naming when the schedule is tight at both ends of the day.
Gulfstream G280 ›All three have pages of their own in the fleet section. Tell us the party and the luggage and we will price a midsize cabin alongside, because on a sector of this length that is a saving rather than a compromise.
From €13 100 one way, whole aircraft. That is our own floor and not a quotation: 2.92 h charged, above the two-hour minimum, multiplied by 4,500 EUR/h – the published "from" rate for this cabin class (Eurosky, 19.02.2026) – rounded down. Two inputs, a clock and a class of aeroplane, and no city pair in either of them.
No published price for the Vienna to Paphos pair has reached us from a source we would be willing to reprint, so the table carries hourly references for the class instead. Use them to audit a quotation; they are no use for constructing one.

Two questions decide the real number. The first is the cabin, and on this sector it is a real question rather than a formality: the step from midsize to super-midsize buys you space you may not need across 2 h 55. The second is where the aeroplane starts. We are based in Cyprus, so a jet returning to the island is making a journey that exists whether or not you are on it, while one flown up to Vienna empty to collect you is not – and that fetching sector belongs in your bill. Ask which of the two your quotation describes, and ask the same of everybody else's.
The hourly figures above are third-party published rates describing a class of aeroplane rather than this sector, reproduced so you can check any quotation you receive, ours included. They are not our offer. The only price we stand behind is the written one against your dates. Call +357 95 119759, 24/7.
GET A FIRM PRICETwo calendars overlap on this corridor and they pull in opposite directions: the European summer one way, Cyprus winter sun the other. Flying south-east you are mostly moving with the second.
| Period | What happens | What to do about it |
|---|---|---|
| October to April | Cyprus keeps flying while much of Europe slows down, and availability is good | The best months on this direction for short notice, and the right ones for asking what is repositioning south |
| June to September | Peak in both directions. Handling in Europe and parking on the island are the constraints rather than aircraft supply | Book early and ask about parking at the Cyprus end, not only about the aeroplane |
| Easter and Christmas | Short, sharp peaks either side of the holiday itself | Fix the dates early; the days closest to the holiday go first in both directions |
| May and late September | Shoulder. Everything open and pricing softer | The value weeks on this route, and the easiest on which to move a day or a cabin class |
In every month, name the arrival hour as well as the date. Paphos is the quieter field and its handling is arranged rather than standing by, so a late arrival is a thing to confirm in advance – and if it cannot be confirmed, Larnaca and 45 minutes of road is the honest alternative rather than a downgrade.
A second sector quoted alongside the first normally costs less added than bought separately later, and Cyprus is within short reach of a great deal.
The continuation asked for most often out of the western end of the island, and the usual next leg when Cyprus was the middle of the trip rather than the end.
Paphos to London ›West into Greece and the shortest onward sector we publish from this field. Frequently added when the week has two coasts in it.
Paphos to Athens ›The leg home, published in full. Booking both halves together lets the operator plan the aircraft's week rather than improvise around it.
Paphos to Vienna ›Heading for the eastern side of the island instead? Vienna to Larnaca is published separately. Continuing into Switzerland later in the week, see Paphos to Geneva.
Tell us your dates and how many of you there are. Your dedicated flight advisor will come back with aircraft options and a firm price.
All published routes are listed on the route index. Also useful: the fleet, current empty legs, jet sharing.
