800 km and around 1 h 25 aloft, flown without a stop in a super-midsize cabin – a Challenger 350, a Legacy 500, a Gulfstream G280. Paphos is the western Cypriot arrival, and the case for it is entirely about what happens once you are down: where the week is in Limassol or along the west coast, finishing here spares the drive across the island. Our floor reads €7 000 one way, working shown. Thirty minutes to something written; +357 95 119759 answers at any hour.
Eighty-five minutes south over the eastern Mediterranean, from the European side of Istanbul to the quiet end of Cyprus, with no connection to make and no terminal building. Give us the party and the dates and we will tell you what is genuinely in the region on them.
REQUEST A QUOTEA short eastern Mediterranean leg, wholly routine for the class, and the two decisions worth taking concern ground rather than air: which side of Istanbul you are leaving from, and which end of Cyprus you are landing at. Neither alters the flying by more than a few minutes. Either can alter the day by an hour of road.
Distances and codes: OurAirports open dataset. Handling and slot conditions shift season by season; we confirm them against your real dates rather than against a rule of thumb. The airport roles described here follow our own published Paphos to Istanbul page.
Each end offers a genuine second option, and in both cases the second option is about geography rather than aviation. Istanbul straddles two continents and Cyprus is forty-five minutes wide by road; say where the party actually is and where it is actually going, and the fields choose themselves.
| Field | Codes | Role on this route | What decides it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Istanbul Airport | IST / LTFM | departure | The principal field on the European side, carrying full business-aviation handling. How long you spend on the ground depends on where handling puts you, which is worth establishing ahead of the morning rather than during it. Every distance and duration here is measured from it. |
| Sabiha Gokcen | SAW / LTFJ | Asian side | The better answer when the morning begins on the Asian side of the city. Crossing Istanbul by road to reach the wrong airport consumes more time than the flight saves, so settle this at the enquiry rather than afterwards. |
| Paphos | PFO / LCPH | arrival | The western Cypriot field, nearer Limassol and the west coast than Larnaca and quieter on the ground. Handling here is organised ahead rather than assumed, which is the modest price of the calm. Landing here instead of Larnaca deletes a forty-five minute drive for anyone staying in the west. |
| Larnaca | LCA / LCLK | alternative arrival | The busier Cypriot field, forty-five minutes by road from Limassol, with business-aviation handling at any hour and our own operations desk on it. Frequently the better answer when the arrival falls late in the day or the party is bound for the east of the island. |
An hour and twenty-five minutes with every seat filled and real luggage puts this in the super-midsize band. Step below it and you trade cabin for a saving the return leg tends to reclaim, which over a leg this short is a poor bargain rather than a clever one.
The customary answer on legs into Cyprus: a super-midsize cabin you can stand up in, with range enough to treat 800 km as a short hop and the hold loaded.
Challenger 350 ›Comparable reach behind a quiet cabin, and frequently the aeroplane genuinely free when the Challenger is not. Worth naming rather than waiting for.
Legacy 500 ›Quick and long-legged for the class, and the one to ask after when both ends of the day are unforgiving rather than just one.
Gulfstream G280 ›All three appear in our fleet. Over 800 km nothing about the distance is demanding, so the honest question at the enquiry is how many of you there are and what travels in the hold.
€7 000 one way for the aeroplane entire. A floor of ours, rounded down – neither tariff nor offer. Your date, what is genuinely free on it and the airport charges all move it; send dates and confirmation follows inside half an hour.
No price for this pairing has reached us from a source we would reproduce, in either heading, so rather than invent a figure we show the working. Two hours are billed – the cabin class carries a two-hour minimum and the leg itself is shorter than that – at 3,500 EUR an hour, the published entry rate for the class, rounded down. Grasping that the minimum rather than the flight time is doing the work matters before you set our floor beside anybody else’s.
| Reference | Applies to | Published figure | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whole aircraft, this route | Istanbul to Paphos | from €7 000 | A floor of ours, not an offer: 2.00 h billed under the two-hour minimum × 3 500 EUR/h, the published entry rate for the cabin class (Eurosky, 19.02.2026), rounded down |
| Hourly, midsize cabins | Europe | 4,600 – 9,700 EUR per hour | Published by a broker, undated, retrieved 23.08.2026 |
| Hourly, entry level | Europe | from 2,900 – 3,500 EUR per hour | Published by a broker, 19.02.2026 |
| Hourly, dollar-quoted | Light to midsize | 3,750 – 4,600 USD per hour | Published by a broker, August 2026 |
| Empty leg | day-dependent | 50 – 75% off is what brokers advertise | Broker price pages, retrieved 2026 |
Everything in that table bar our own floor was published by somebody else and is reproduced so that any offer, ours included, has a yardstick beside it. None of it is our offer. The opening question on a quotation of this length is where the aeroplane starts, and on this heading the answer tends to be kind: something already working the eastern Mediterranean bills quite differently from something ferried up to Turkey empty, and southward into Cyprus is the direction in which ours are more often going home than setting out. The second question is the arrival field, because a quotation written for Larnaca and one written for Paphos are not interchangeable.
GET A FIRM PRICETwo seasons pulling against one another: the European summer sends people out, the Cypriot winter draws them in. What makes this corridor convenient is that the second runs through months when much of the continent has gone quiet.
| Period | What happens | What to do about it |
|---|---|---|
| June to September | A crest in both headings. Handling and island parking run short rather than aeroplanes, and Paphos is a smaller operation than Larnaca in every respect. | Book early and ask about parking as well as about the aeroplane. Where the jet stays with you, the stand has to be arranged. |
| October to April | Cyprus keeps flying while much of Europe slows, so availability is good and the corridor does not empty out. | The best months for short notice and for asking what is already repositioning south. |
| Easter and Christmas | Short, sharp crests either side of the holidays, in both headings at once. | Settle dates early. The days immediately around the holiday go first and notice afterwards does not recover them. |
| May and late September | The bracketing weeks. Everything open, the weather settled, the numbers gentler than at the crest. | The value weeks here. Any give in the diary should be spent on one of them. |
Cyprus is a junction for a good many of the people we land there, and our own operations desk sits on the island. A further leg settled in the same conversation almost always costs less than one bought afterwards.
The long leg north-west off the western end of the island, booked alongside this one more than any other when Cyprus is a stop rather than the point of the trip.
Paphos to London ›West over the water to the Greek mainland, and the continuation requested most often when the week carries on into the Aegean rather than back north.
Paphos to Athens ›Straight into France off the quiet end of Cyprus. Worth naming early, since the western field wants its handling organised rather than assumed.
Paphos to Paris ›Everything we fly off the island is gathered on the Cyprus charter page.
Tell us your dates and how many of you there are. Your dedicated flight advisor will come back with aircraft options and a firm price.
