Private Jet Charter Paris to Lisbon

Paris to Lisbon is 1,460 km and about 2 h 15 in the air, normally on a midsize jet out of Le Bourget, and it is one of the simplest long sectors on this website: both ends are inside Schengen and neither requires anything unusual. Indicative price from €10 100 for the whole aircraft, one way. Send the dates and the passenger count and a written quotation follows inside 30 minutes; the operations desk answers at any hour on +357 95 119759.

Two and a quarter hours down the western edge of Europe, and an unusually uncomplicated one: no border, no permit, no aircraft that struggles with the distance. The two decisions that matter are which Portuguese field you land at and, if your meeting runs late, what time you can leave Paris. Whole aircraft, single seats and empty legs, arranged 24/7.

The route at a glance

A long sector by European standards and a simple one by any. Le Bourget is eight kilometres from the périphérique, wholly given over to business aviation, and with 55,751 movements in 2023 the busiest such airport in Europe – but night movements there are restricted, which on a two-and-a-quarter-hour flight means a late finish in Lisbon deserves a word when you book. At the far end, Lisbon is remarkably close to its own city centre and carries heavy scheduled traffic, so business aviation fits around slots rather than ignoring them.

Typical aircraft
Midsize jet
A Citation XLS, Learjet 60 or Hawker 900XP crosses non-stop with the cabin full; a light jet needs a shorter passenger list
Busiest months

A business calendar, with a separate summer peak along the Estoril coast that fills the Cascais end rather than the capital
The distance is a great-circle figure between airport coordinates, so the track actually flown is longer than it. The time is a model estimate and not a measured block time: the model is fitted to flight times Diamond Executive Aero Services already publishes on this website, it makes no distinction between the outbound and the return, and routing, wind, slots and aircraft type all move it. The schedule in your quotation is the real one.

Which airports we use

Lisbon is one of the few European capitals where the main airport is genuinely close to the centre, which makes the default a good default. The alternative exists for a specific reason rather than as a fallback: if you are staying along the coast, the coast has its own field and it is not a compromise.

Paris Le BourgetLBG / LFPB1,460 kmWhere the leg starts, and the field every figure on this page is measured from. Eight kilometres from the périphérique, wholly business aviation, 55,751 movements in 2023 (EBAA 2023). Night movements are restricted, which matters on a sector of this length if your day in Paris runs long.
Paris OrlyORY / LFPOdeparture alternativeLe Bourget has no window at the hour you need, or your morning starts south or west of Paris. A large scheduled airport with a business-aviation facility attached, so slots are shared with airline traffic.
Lisbon Humberto DelgadoLIS / LPPTarrivalThe default, and the field every figure here is measured to. Remarkably close to the centre of the city – one of the shortest airport drives of any capital in Europe. It carries heavy scheduled traffic and is capacity-constrained, so business aviation works within the slot system rather than around it.
Cascais MunicipalCAS / LPCSarrival alternativeYou are staying along the Estoril coast, in Cascais, or out towards Sintra. Portugal's dedicated general and business aviation field, at Tires west of Lisbon: it removes the drive into the city and replaces the slot problem with a much simpler one. Aircraft size is the question to ask us about before assuming it.

Aircraft for Paris to Lisbon

At 1,460 km the aircraft choice becomes a real one rather than a preference. A midsize cabin crosses non-stop with everybody and everything aboard; below that you start trading passengers or luggage for range, and we would rather say so than quote you something that technically fits.

Midsize jet

The sensible default and what we quote unless told otherwise. Seven to nine passengers, full luggage, non-stop, and a cabin you can work or sleep in for two and a quarter hours rather than simply endure.

Super-midsize

For a larger party, for golf equipment, or when Lisbon is a staging point for something further – the Atlantic islands or a transatlantic leg. More cabin and more margin if the routing goes long around weather.

See the fleet ›

Light jet

Workable with a short passenger list, and honest about the trade: fewer people, less luggage, and on some days a fuel stop that costs you the hour you chartered to save. We will tell you plainly when it is and is not sensible.

What it costs

Indicative price from €10 100 for the whole aircraft, one way. That is a floor rather than a quotation: it describes the cheapest sensible way to do the sector on a good day, not the price of your particular trip.

What moves it from there: the cabin you choose, which on a sector this long is the largest single factor; where the aircraft was before it came to you and where it has to be afterwards; whether the crew can do the round trip inside a duty day or an overnight has to be priced in; and handling and parking at both ends. Slot availability at Lisbon occasionally enters the arithmetic too, in the form of an hour that costs more than the hour beside it.

The reliable savings are the usual two. A return booked as one trip, because the aircraft and crew stay with you rather than repositioning twice. And an empty leg if your dates can move – the Paris-Iberia corridor is busy enough that repositioning flights are common, particularly at each end of the summer season.

When to fly, and when to book early

Two calendars sit on this route. The business one runs March to June and September to November and behaves predictably: out early in the week, home late in it. The leisure one runs through the summer and is aimed at the coast rather than the capital, which is why it fills Cascais and the Algarve fields before it fills Lisbon.

Book early for the summer weekends, for the weeks either side of the major Lisbon conference dates, and for any trip where you need a specific arrival hour – the slot system at Lisbon is real, and the popular windows go first. Book early too if the return from Paris would be late in the evening, because of the night restriction at Le Bourget.

Outside those, short notice is comfortable on this corridor and same-day departures are realistic, because the aircraft pool at Le Bourget is the deepest in Europe.

Onward from Lisbon

Lisbon is a natural staging point rather than a cul-de-sac, and the second leg is simpler and cheaper arranged together with the first.

The Algarve and the coast

Short sectors south, and often the real destination. If the Algarve is where you are going, say so and we will quote it directly rather than add a two-hour drive to a flight you chartered to save time.

Madrid and back into Europe

An hour or so east, and a common second leg when the week covers both Iberian capitals. Quoted as one trip rather than two separate charters.

Paris to Madrid ›

Empty legs

Aircraft reposition between Paris and Iberia constantly, and a good share of those flights carry nobody. Flexible dates are what it takes to use one.

Questions we get about this route

How long is Paris to Lisbon, and does it go non-stop?
About 2 h 15 in the air over 1,460 km, non-stop on a midsize jet or larger. A light jet can do it with a short passenger list, and on some days with a fuel stop – we will say which before you book. The flying figure is a model estimate fitted to the flight times we publish ourselves, not a measured block time, and the model takes no view of direction.
Lisbon or Cascais?
Lisbon if the city is the destination: the airport is unusually close to the centre, one of the shortest airport drives of any European capital. Cascais if you are staying along the Estoril coast, in Cascais or towards Sintra – it is the country's dedicated business-aviation field and removes the drive into town. Aircraft size decides whether Cascais works, so ask us rather than assume.
Is there a border to cross?
No. France and Portugal are both inside the Schengen area, so this is an internal flight with no passport desk at either end. Passenger details are still needed for the flight plan and handling, and identification should be carried, but there is no immigration step in the schedule.
What does €10 100 include, and what moves it?
It is an indicative floor for the whole aircraft, one way – not a quotation for your trip. The cabin you choose moves it most on a sector this long; then positioning, the crew duty day, and handling and parking at both ends. Give us the dates and the passenger count and you get a real number in writing rather than a range.
Can we do it out and back in a day?
It is possible and it is tight. Two and a quarter hours each way plus your time on the ground consumes most of a crew duty day, and the night restriction at Le Bourget can remove the late return that would otherwise make it work. Give us your meeting times and we will tell you honestly whether one crew can do it or whether an overnight is the sensible answer.
We are going to the Algarve, not to Lisbon. What then?
Then we quote the Algarve directly. Landing in Lisbon and driving south undoes a large part of what you chartered the aircraft for. Tell us the address and we will name the field, and say plainly if the runway or the season makes Lisbon plus a short hop the better answer instead.
Are there empty legs on this corridor?
Regularly, especially at each end of the summer season when aircraft reposition between Paris and Iberia almost daily. The discount range brokers publish is 50 to 75 percent. The trade is that the date and roughly the hour are somebody else's. Current empty legs
How late can we book?
Same day is realistic outside the summer peak, and a couple of days' notice is routine. The constraints are an aircraft near Le Bourget, a crew inside their duty day, and a Lisbon slot at the hour you want. Call the operations desk on +357 95 119759, staffed twenty-four hours a day.
