Paris to Beirut is 3,193 km and about 4 h 26 non-stop out of Le Bourget, a super-midsize sector with the cabin full. Two things shape it more than the flying does: permissions and routing across the eastern Mediterranean, which are confirmed closer to the day than they would be on a European pairing, and a third-country arrival in Lebanon. Indicative price from €38 500 for the whole aircraft, one way. Our own desk is in Cyprus, forty minutes from Beirut by air, and it answers at any hour on +357 95 119759.
Four and a half hours south-east, and the aircraft is the least of it. What takes the working days is the ground: clearances along the route, a landing permission at the far end, and a passenger list that has to be complete and early rather than complete and eventually. Say the dates as soon as you have them and the rest stays invisible to you. Whole aircraft, single seats and empty legs, arranged 24/7.
REQUEST A QUOTEAeronautically this is an ordinary long sector: a super-midsize crosses it non-stop with everybody and everything aboard, and Le Bourget – wholly business aviation, 55,751 movements in 2023 – makes the departure half straightforward. Administratively it is a different kind of trip from a European pairing. Overflight and landing permissions across the eastern Mediterranean are confirmed nearer the day than you would expect, and the arrival in Lebanon is a full third-country entry. Neither is unusual; both need lead time.
Lebanon offers one airport and no alternative, which removes a decision but adds a dependency. The choice on this route is therefore at the Paris end – and, occasionally, in whether the aircraft comes to you from Europe or from our own base an hour east of Beirut.
| Airport | Codes | Distance | Suits you if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paris Le Bourget | LBG / LFPB | 3,193 km | Where the leg starts, and the field every figure on this page is measured from. Eight kilometres from the périphérique, wholly given over to business aviation, 55,751 movements in 2023 (EBAA 2023). Night movements are restricted, which on a four-and-a-half-hour sector shapes what departure hours are actually available. |
| Paris Orly | ORY / LFPO | departure alternative | Le Bourget has no window at the hour you need, or your morning starts south or west of Paris. A large scheduled airport with a business-aviation facility attached, so slots are shared with airline traffic. |
| Beirut Rafic Hariri | BEY / OLBA | arrival | Where the leg ends, and the only international airport in Lebanon – there is no second field to compare it with. It sits on the coast a short drive south of the city, which makes the ground journey one of the shorter ones in the region. Landing permission is applied for rather than assumed, which is the single reason we ask for your dates early. |
| Larnaca | LCA / LCLK | our base | Not your destination, but worth knowing about: Larnaca is our own home base, inside the European Union, a short hop west of Beirut and with a wider choice of aircraft on a given day. It occasionally changes which aircraft we can offer you and at what price, and it is where a technical stop would be made if one were ever needed. |

Three thousand two hundred kilometres puts this in super-midsize territory and keeps it there. Below that cabin you begin trading passengers, luggage or a fuel stop for the saving, and on a sector this long a fuel stop costs more than it looks like it does.
The default and what we quote unless told otherwise. Non-stop with the cabin full, a proper galley, and enough space that four and a half hours is a working afternoon rather than an endurance.
See the fleet ›For a larger party, for a night departure where a bed matters, or when the trip continues further east after Beirut. It also carries more margin if routing takes the long way round.
See the fleet ›Possible with a light load, and we will be straight about the trade: fewer people, less luggage, and on some days a technical stop that removes the advantage you chartered for. Worth quoting, not worth assuming.
See the fleet ›Indicative price from €38 500 for the whole aircraft, one way. It is a floor for a sensible aircraft on an ordinary day, not a quotation for your trip – and on this route the spread above the floor is wider than on a European pairing.
The cabin decides most of it. After that come the things that have nothing to do with the map: where the aircraft is before it comes to Le Bourget, whether it waits for you in Beirut or repositions, whether an overnight for the crew is priced in, and what handling and permissions cost at each end. A same-day return is not realistic here, so the honest question is usually whether the aircraft stays with you or goes away and comes back – and the answer depends on how long you are there.
Our own base is forty minutes from Beirut by air, which occasionally changes the arithmetic in your favour: an aircraft that is already in the eastern Mediterranean costs less to bring to you than one that must fly out empty from western Europe.
GET A FIRM PRICEThe business calendar runs March to June and September to November. On top of it sits a family one: the summer weeks when the Lebanese diaspora travels home are the busiest of the year on this corridor, and they behave more like a holiday peak than a corporate one.
Book early always, and not because of the aircraft. Permissions and clearances take working days, and they are the part of this trip that cannot be accelerated by paying more. A trip planned on a Friday for a Monday is a genuinely different proposition here than it is between two European capitals, and we would rather tell you that at the enquiry than at the last moment.
The other thing worth flagging early is a mixed passenger list. Entry requirements vary by nationality, and the paperwork sets the floor on how late the booking can be made.
The eastern Mediterranean is a short-sector region, and once an aircraft is there the next leg is inexpensive by comparison with getting it there in the first place.
Forty minutes west, inside the European Union, and where our own desk sits. A common second stop, and a practical one when a European re-entry is needed part way through a trip.
Paris to Larnaca ›Beirut is a natural staging point eastward. Tell us the onward destination at the enquiry and the permissions for both legs are handled as one piece of work rather than two.
Paris to Dubai ›Aircraft that bring a party into the region have to leave again. Our proximity means we see these before most people do, and if your dates can move, it is worth asking.
Current empty legs ›Tell us your dates and how many of you there are. Your dedicated flight advisor will come back with aircraft options and a firm price.
