Tel Aviv to Larnaca by private jet takes about 51 min over 339 km, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion to Larnaca, normally on a light jet. Indicative price from €10 700 for the whole aircraft, one way. Ben Gurion to Larnaca in about 51 minutes - the shortest international sector we publish, and one that lands in the European Union without landing in Schengen. Fifty-one minutes of flying, a full border at each end, and a short drive at the far side if you have picked the right Cyprus airport.
REQUEST A QUOTEThree hundred and thirty-nine kilometres of open sea, and a corridor that carries real business traffic rather than day-trippers. WingX reported in April 2024 that Cyprus was the leading business-jet connection out of Tel Aviv, with connections up 23 percent year on year - a statement about departures from Ben Gurion, which is the direction this page describes. We reprint it second-hand, because the original bulletin is no longer openly readable, and we would rather say so than pretend we have read it ourselves.
The departure is fixed: for Tel Aviv the field is Ben Gurion. The decision on this page is the arrival, because Cyprus has two international airports and the flying time to either barely changes - what changes is how far you drive after the aircraft stops. Pick the one nearest where you are staying and tell us before we quote, not after.
| Airport | Codes | Distance | Suits you if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tel Aviv Ben Gurion | TLV / LLBG | 339 km | Where the trip starts. Israeli security procedure applies to private flights as it does to everything else, which is the one part of this sector you cannot compress: we file passenger details early and agree the handling window with you in advance rather than on the morning. Give us the full list of names as soon as you have them and the departure end takes care of itself. |
| Larnaca | LCA / LCLK | arrival | The usual arrival, and the main business-aviation field in Cyprus. Right if you are heading for the south or east of the island - the shortest drive from the ramp, and more often than not there is already an aircraft standing here, which is what makes a short-notice booking on this pair realistic. |
| Paphos | PFO / LCPH | arrival alternative | The arrival to ask for if you are staying around Paphos, Latchi or the Akamas. Landing at Larnaca and then driving the length of the island undoes most of what a 51-minute flight bought you. Say so when you send the dates and we will price the sector into Paphos instead. |

At 339 km and about 51 minutes this is a light-jet sector by any measure, and no part of the choice is about range - a light jet crosses it with fuel to spare. What decides the type is the size of the party, the luggage, and whether the aircraft is coming back to Cyprus anyway. Out of Ben Gurion the aeroplane has usually flown over empty to collect you, so the type that is already committed to the return is often the one that quotes best.
The first type we look at on this pair. Economical over fifty-one minutes, quick to arrange at short notice, and with hold enough for a working party's cases when the day started in Tel Aviv and ends on the Cyprus coast.
See the Phenom 300 ›Smaller cabin, lower running cost. The sensible answer when two or three of you are crossing for the day and coming back the same evening - over fifty-one minutes the cabin difference is barely noticed, and the saving is not.
See the Citation CJ2 ›The value option on a date fixed well in advance. It is the slowest of the three, but on a sector measured in minutes rather than hours that difference costs you almost nothing.
See the Citation Bravo ›All three types are on our own fleet pages. Heavier cabins are available on this sector too if the party or the luggage calls for one.

Unusually for the routes on this site, third-party brokers publish figures for this pairing, so you can hold any quotation - ours included - up against something. The table reprints their published estimates as they stand. They are not our offer, they bind nobody, and none of them was written with your dates in mind.

Two calendars run over this route at once. The Mediterranean one gives it a June to September peak with May and October as the shoulder. The Israeli week gives it a rhythm of its own, and out of Ben Gurion that rhythm is the thing worth planning around.
| Period | What happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| June to September | Peak in both directions - Israeli families crossing to the Cyprus coast, business and leisure traffic coming back the other way. Aircraft and handlers on the island are both working hard. | Two to three weeks ahead for a departure at the end of the week, and longer if you want a particular type rather than whatever is free. |
| May and October | The shoulder. Warm enough at both ends, quiet enough that a booking made the same week normally holds. | The easiest weeks of the year to get the aircraft you actually asked for rather than the one that was left. |
| November to April | Off season on both coasts. Traffic thins, and repositioning legs around the eastern Mediterranean become common. | The window to ask about an empty leg. If your dates can move a day either way, say so when you first write to us. |
| Any month: Thursday and Sunday | The Israeli working week runs Sunday to Thursday, so departures out of Israel bunch on Thursday afternoon while the flow back builds on Saturday night and Sunday morning. It is the mirror image of the European pattern. | Leave midweek if the trip allows it. Both the aircraft and the handling slots are easier on a Tuesday than on a Thursday evening. |
Hardly anybody who lands at Larnaca on this sector is finishing their travel there. A good number are using the island as a staging point for a longer leg west, and this is the onward flight we arrange most often at the back of this one.
The long western leg out of the eastern Mediterranean. It asks for a bigger cabin than a 51-minute hop does, so expect a different aircraft and a different price bracket rather than a continuation on the same one.
