Private Jet Charter Manchester to Palma de Mallorca

Manchester to Palma de Mallorca is 1,581 km, about 2 h 24 in the air on a midsize jet such as a Citation XLS+, Hawker 800XP or Citation Latitude. Manchester operates around the clock, which is what makes an early start – or a late return home – possible on this pairing. Indicative price from €10 800. A written quotation follows inside 30 minutes; +357 95 119759 answers at any hour.

Two and a half hours south to the largest of the Balearics, from a field that never closes to an island that in August is at full stretch. Since Brexit this is a full border crossing – minutes at a business terminal, but minutes that want your passenger details early. Whole aircraft, single seats and empty legs, arranged 24/7.

The route at a glance

A summer sector with an easy northern end and a busy southern one. Manchester operates around the clock with full business-aviation handling – the gateway for Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Liverpool, Leeds and the roads to the Lakes – so the hour you leave is yours. Palma is much the larger Balearic airport, with room on the ground when Ibiza has none, and in the peak weeks it is busy in its own right: 17,504 business-aviation movements in 2023.

The distance is a great-circle figure between airport coordinates, so the track actually flown is longer than it. The time is a model estimate and not a measured block time: the model is fitted to flight times Diamond Executive Aero Services already publishes on this website, it makes no distinction between the outbound and the return, and routing, wind, slots and aircraft type all move it. The schedule in your quotation is the real one.

One departure open whenever you are, one arrival with genuine capacity, and two rows that exist because the Balearics are more than one island.

What it costs

Indicative price from €10 800 for the whole aircraft, one way – a floor for a sensible aircraft on an ordinary day rather than a figure for the first Saturday of the school holidays.

The cabin moves it most, and positioning comes next: the north of England is not where the summer Mediterranean fleet lives, so the aeroplane usually travels to reach you. Palma helps here in a way the smaller islands do not – it has real capacity, so the arrival end adds far less pressure than an Ibiza or a Mykonos would.

Where it comes down: book the return as one trip, avoid the two changeover Saturdays at each end of the holidays, and ask about empty legs, which cluster northbound as the season closes.

When to fly, and when to book early

June to September, with the sharpest peaks at the beginning and end of the school holidays. Outside the season this is an easy sector at short notice in both directions.

Book early for those two changeover weekends and send passenger details with the booking – since Brexit this is a border crossing and the document side wants more notice than a European internal flight. Otherwise Palma's capacity means the arrival is rarely the constraint.

Use the Manchester end. Because the airport is open around the clock, an early departure or a late return is genuinely available here, and both are usually easier and cheaper than the middle of a Saturday.

Onward from Palma

The Balearics and the Spanish coast are short sectors from Palma, and the second leg is easier arranged with the first.

Palma to Manchester

The return leg, and the half most parties book at the same time. Booking both usually costs less than two separate one-way flights.

Questions we get about this route

How long is Manchester to Palma de Mallorca?
About 2 h 24 in the air over 1,581 km. Allow roughly fifteen minutes on the ground at each end at a business terminal. The flying figure is a model estimate fitted to the flight times we publish ourselves rather than a measured block time.
Does Manchester really operate around the clock?
Yes, with full business-aviation handling, and on a holiday route it is the most useful fact here: an early start or a late return home is a genuine option rather than a negotiation.
Do we go through passport control?
Yes. The United Kingdom is outside both the EU and the Schengen area, so this is a full border crossing. At a business terminal it is minutes rather than a queue, but we need your passenger details earlier than for a flight inside Schengen.
Is Palma ever the difficult end?
Far less often than the smaller islands. Palma is much the larger Balearic airport with real capacity on the ground – which is exactly why it is the fallback when Ibiza has nothing. In the peak weeks it is busy, but busy is not the same as full.
We are going to Ibiza, not Mallorca. What then?
Then we quote Manchester to Ibiza directly. They are separate islands, and landing on Mallorca with a boat to catch undoes most of what you chartered the aircraft for.
What does €10 800 include, and what moves it?
It is an indicative floor for the whole aircraft, one way. The cabin moves it most, then positioning, because the north of England is not where the summer Mediterranean fleet lives. The Palma end adds comparatively little.
Are there empty legs on this corridor?
Regularly, and they cluster northbound as the season closes and aircraft head home. The discount range brokers publish is 50 to 75 percent, and the trade is that the date and roughly the hour belong to somebody else. Current empty legs
How late can we book?
Outside the season, a day or two comfortably. In the peak weeks the changeover weekends want notice, and the border notification has a floor of its own. Call the operations desk on +357 95 119759, staffed twenty-four hours a day.
