Prague to Larnaca is 2,307 km and about 3 h 19 in the air, nonstop for the super-midsize class. By the standards of the routes we publish out of central Europe this is the straightforward one: Vaclav Havel has a dedicated general aviation terminal, handling there is quick and the hours are workable, so almost nothing about the departure needs negotiating. That leaves one real variable, and southbound it happens to work in your favour – where the aeroplane starts. We are based in Cyprus, so this is the leg on which an aircraft is going home. Our own floor is EUR 28,800 one way and the sum is set out below. Written quotation inside 30 minutes; +357 95 119759 at any hour.
Central Europe to the eastern Mediterranean nonstop in a little over three hours, without a connection and without a terminal. Tell us the party and the dates and we will tell you what is genuinely available on them.
REQUEST A QUOTEA long southbound sector, routine for the cabin class and unremarkable in the air. What distinguishes it from the rest of our central European list is the quality of the departure end: a general aviation terminal of its own means the part of the journey most people dread is the part that takes the least time.
Handling and slot conditions change from season to season at both ends. We confirm them against your actual dates rather than against a general rule, and where a fallback field is involved we price it alongside rather than after the event.
One departure that rarely needs a discussion, two alternatives that exist for particular reasons, and a choice of Cyprus fields at the far end that depends entirely on which coast you are heading for.
| Field | Codes | Role on this route | What decides it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prague Vaclav Havel | PRG / LKPR | Departure | Full business-aviation handling with a general aviation terminal of its own, and straightforward at most hours. That is the whole entry: there is no slot story, no terrain and no curfew argument to work around. Name the hour you want to be airborne and it is usually the hour you get. |
| Vienna | VIE / LOWW | Alternative | The answer when the handling or the hours at Prague genuinely do not work for your day. It is about 3 h 30 away by road, which is a long drive rather than a short one, so it is a fallback for a reason rather than a matter of preference. |
| Karlovy Vary | KLV / LKKV | Situational | For the spa towns west of Prague. If that is where the week has actually been spent, leaving from there rather than driving back into the city can save real time – subject to the aircraft type and to handling, both of which we check rather than assume. |
| Larnaca | LCA / LCLK | Arrival | The main Cyprus field and the one most of our own flights work from, with business-aviation handling at any hour. A three-hour southbound sector can land at an awkward time and still be met properly. |
| Paphos | PFO / LCPH | Alternative arrival | The western field, closer to Limassol and the west coast, about 45 minutes by road from Larnaca. The two are not interchangeable for everyone; give us the address and we will land you at the right one. |
Three and a third hours with a full cabin and real luggage is a super-midsize job. Nothing about the routing is demanding, so this is a decision about the cabin you want to sit in and about what can actually be placed on your date.
The usual answer on sectors between Europe and Cyprus: super-midsize cabin, stand-up height and the range to fly this nonstop with the hold full.
Challenger 350 ›Comparable reach with a notably quiet cabin, and often the aeroplane that is available on your date when the Challenger is not.
Legacy 500 ›Fast and long-legged for its class, and the one to name when the schedule is tight at both ends of the day.
Gulfstream G280 ›All three have pages of their own in the fleet section. Below the class you are trading cabin for a saving that the return leg tends to reclaim.
From €28 800 one way, whole aircraft. That is our own floor and not a quotation. It is built from two things and nothing else: 3.32 h charged, comfortably above the two-hour minimum, multiplied by 8,700 EUR/h – the lower bound of a published range for this cabin class (LunaJets, Europe, undated) – rounded down. A clock and a class of aeroplane; no city pair anywhere in it.
No published price for Prague to Larnaca has reached us from a source we would be willing to reprint, so the table below carries hourly references for the class instead. They are worth having in order to test a quotation and no use at all for constructing one.

| Whole aircraft, this route | Prague to Larnaca | from €28 800 | Our own floor, not a quotation: 3.32 h charged (two-hour minimum applies) × 8,700 EUR/h, the lower bound of the published range for the cabin class (LunaJets, Europe, undated), rounded down |

Because the airport at this end asks so little, the position of the aeroplane is left as the one item that really moves the number, and southbound that is good news rather than bad. An aircraft due back in the eastern Mediterranean is making a journey that has to happen with or without you; one flown up to Prague empty to collect you is not, and the fetching sector belongs in your bill. Ask which of the two your quotation describes, and ask it of everybody's, not only ours.
The second item is what happens after you land: released in Cyprus, or obliged to return north immediately. Across three hours that is a difference worth quoting both ways rather than assuming.
The hourly figures above belong to third parties and describe a class of aeroplane rather than this sector. They are reproduced so that you can audit any quotation you receive, ours included, and they are not our offer. The only price we stand behind is the written one against your dates. GET A FIRM PRICETwo calendars overlap here and they pull in opposite directions: the European summer heading one way, Cyprus winter sun coming the other. Southbound you are usually travelling with the second, which changes which months are easy.
| Period | What happens | What to do about it |
|---|---|---|
| October to April | Cyprus keeps flying while much of Europe slows down, and availability is good | The best months on this direction for short notice, and the right ones for asking what is repositioning south |
| June to September | Peak in both directions. Handling in Europe and parking on the island are the constraints rather than aircraft supply | Book early and ask about parking at the Cyprus end, not only about the aeroplane |
| Easter and Christmas | Short, sharp peaks either side of the holiday itself | Fix the dates early; the days closest to the holiday go first in both directions |
| May and late September | Shoulder. Everything open and pricing softer | The value weeks on this route, and the easiest ones on which a day can be moved |
In any month, tell us the hour rather than only the date. Prague is generous about hours by the standards of this list, but the arrival in Cyprus is three and a bit hours later plus the change of clock, and if anything at the Larnaca end is fixed, that is what the booking should be built backwards from.
A second sector quoted alongside the first normally costs less added than bought separately a week afterwards, and Cyprus sits within short reach of a great deal.
The northbound leg, published in full. Booking both halves together is what lets the operator plan the aircraft's week instead of improvising it.
Larnaca to Prague ›The other central European arrival we publish from the island, and the one most often compared with this route when the destination is negotiable.
Larnaca to Vienna ›West into Switzerland, and the continuation most often added when Cyprus is the middle of the trip rather than the end of it.
Larnaca to Geneva ›Heading for Limassol or the west coast after landing? Paphos is the other Cyprus field, about 45 minutes by road – see Paphos to London for how that end works.
Tell us your dates and how many of you there are. Your dedicated flight advisor will come back with aircraft options and a firm price.
All published routes are listed on the route index. Also useful: the fleet, current empty legs, jet sharing.
