Istanbul to Larnaca is 830 km and about 1 h 28 in the air, nonstop and undemanding for the class that flies it. The decision that actually matters is made on the ground and before the day: which side of the Bosphorus you are leaving from. A departure is less forgiving about this than an arrival, because you have to reach the field by a particular hour and the traffic has no interest in your schedule. Get the side right and this is ninety minutes; get it wrong and the drive costs more than the flight saves. Our own floor is EUR 7,000 one way, with the sum printed below. Written quotation inside 30 minutes; +357 95 119759 answers at any hour.
Ninety minutes south across the eastern Mediterranean, with no connection and no terminal at either end. Tell us the address you are leaving from, not the airport, and we will tell you which field your morning actually wants.
REQUEST A QUOTEThe shortest of the sectors we publish between Cyprus and this part of the region, and the one where the airport question is genuine rather than a hedge. Istanbul has fields on both sides of a strait, and the strait is the slowest part of the journey.
Handling and slot conditions change from season to season at both ends, and at a field the size of Istanbul the stand you are allocated affects how long you spend on the ground. We confirm both against your actual dates rather than against a general rule.
One city, two airports, and a strait between them. This is the rare pairing where naming the wrong field does more damage than choosing the wrong aeroplane, so we ask for the address you are starting from rather than the airport you assume.
| Field | Codes | Role on this route | What decides it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Istanbul Airport | IST / LTFM | Departure | The main field on the European side, with full business-aviation handling. It is large and it is busy, which means the time you spend between the car and the aircraft depends on where handling places you. If you are staying on the European side, this is the departure, and the hour to leave the hotel is a question worth asking us rather than guessing. |
| Sabiha Gokcen | SAW / LTFJ | Asian side | The better answer whenever the morning starts on the Asian side of the city. Crossing the Bosphorus to reach a departure on the wrong side can take longer than the flight to Cyprus, and unlike an arrival, a departure gives you no room to absorb that: the aircraft has an hour and the bridge does not care. |
| Ankara Esenboga | ESB / LTAC | Alternative | For the capital rather than for Istanbul. In practice this is a separate trip with its own quotation rather than an alternative departure for the same one, and we treat it that way. |
| Larnaca | LCA / LCLK | Arrival | The main Cyprus field and the one most of our own flights work from, with business-aviation handling at any hour. On a ninety-minute sector the arrival is the easy end of the day and it is meant to stay that way. |
| Paphos | PFO / LCPH | Alternative arrival | The western field, closer to Limassol and the west coast, about 45 minutes by road from Larnaca. Not interchangeable with Larnaca for everyone – give us the destination and we will land you at the right one. |
An hour and a half with a full cabin and real luggage sits in the super-midsize class. Nothing about 830 km is demanding, so what you are buying here is cabin and availability rather than capability.
The usual answer on Cyprus sectors: super-midsize cabin, stand-up height and range far beyond what this distance asks of it.
Challenger 350 ›Comparable reach with a quiet cabin, and frequently the aeroplane that can actually be placed on your date when the Challenger cannot.
Legacy 500 ›Fast and long-legged for the class. Worth naming when the schedule is tight at both ends and there is something fixed waiting in Cyprus.
Gulfstream G280 ›All three have pages of their own in the fleet section. Below the class you are trading cabin for a saving that the return leg tends to reclaim.
From €7 000 one way, whole aircraft. That is our own floor rather than a quotation, and on a short sector the way it is built matters: 2.00 h charged, because a two-hour minimum applies and the flight is shorter than that, multiplied by 3,500 EUR/h – the published "from" rate for this cabin class (Eurosky, 19.02.2026) – rounded down.
Read that minimum for what it is. A ninety-minute flight does not cost less than a two-hour one in any way that reaches your invoice, because the crew's day, the handling at both ends and the aircraft's journey to you are much the same either way. No published price for the Istanbul to Larnaca city pair has reached us from a source we would reprint, so the table carries hourly references for the class instead.

The question that moves the real number is where the aeroplane starts. One already in the eastern Mediterranean – or one due back in Cyprus, which is where we are based – prices very differently from one flown to Istanbul empty to collect you. On a sector this short the fetching leg can be longer than the flight you are buying, so put the question to any quotation you hold, ours included.
The second question is what the aircraft does next: released in Cyprus, or obliged to fly straight back north. Ask for it both ways rather than assuming that one of them is what you were quoted.
The hourly figures above are third-party published rates for a class of aeroplane, not prices for this sector. They are reproduced so you can audit a quotation, ours as readily as anybody's, and they are not our offer. The only price we stand behind is the written one against your dates. GET A FIRM PRICETwo seasons run against each other on this corridor – the European summer one way, Cyprus winter sun the other – and because the sector is short, notice periods here are shorter than on the long routes out of the island.
| Period | What happens | What to do about it |
|---|---|---|
| June to September | Peak in both directions. Handling and island parking are the binding constraints rather than the supply of aircraft | Book early and ask about parking at the Cyprus end as well as about the aeroplane |
| October to April | Cyprus keeps flying while much of Europe slows. Availability is good | The best months for short notice and for asking what is already repositioning south |
| Easter and Christmas | Short, sharp peaks either side of the holiday | Fix the dates early; the days closest to the holiday go first |
| May and late September | Shoulder. Everything open and pricing softer | The value weeks on this route, and the easiest ones on which to move an hour |
In every month the useful thing to tell us is the hour and the address, in that order. On a ninety-minute sector the departure hour is what decides whether the day works, and the address is what decides which side of the city you leave from.
Cyprus is within short reach of a great deal, and a second sector quoted alongside the first normally costs less added than booked separately later.
The northbound leg, published in full. Having both halves quoted together is what lets the operator plan the aircraft rather than improvise around it.
Larnaca to Istanbul ›West into the Dodecanese, and the short continuation most often added when Cyprus is the middle of the trip rather than the end.
Larnaca to Rhodes ›The shortest sector we publish out of the island. Frequently quoted alongside this one when the week has two cities in it.
Larnaca to Beirut ›Going on to Limassol or the west coast? Paphos is the other Cyprus field, about 45 minutes by road – see Paphos to London for how that end works.
Tell us your dates and how many of you there are. Your dedicated flight advisor will come back with aircraft options and a firm price.
All published routes are listed on the route index. Also useful: the fleet, current empty legs, jet sharing.
