The longest common domestic route in Canada, linking the country's financial center with its Pacific gateway. Business travelers use it for meetings and deals, and in winter it is the first leg for many skiers heading to Whistler. Whistler has no airport for jets, so the usual plan is Vancouver and then a drive up the Sea-to-Sky Highway, or a helicopter or floatplane transfer. A midsize jet or larger flies it non-stop comfortably.
