The midsize jet on our fleet page with a stand-up cabin and the biggest hold in its class: 1.83 m of height, 4.25 m³ of luggage, 5,371 km of range and six to eight seats. On this network it reaches everything except the two longest Gulf sectors, and this page is specific about where the line falls.
REQUEST A QUOTEEvery figure in this block is copied from the specification table on our own fleet page for this type. Nothing here is a manufacturer brochure number and nothing has been rounded up.
5,371 km of published range against a longest published route of 5,500 km. One sector on this website is beyond it, one more is inside it only on paper, and the other forty-six are comfortable.
The one it does not reach is London to Dubai at 5,500 km - 129 km beyond the published figure. That is a small gap and it is still a gap: we would put forward a heavy type or plan a fuel stop rather than pretend otherwise.
Amsterdam to Dubai at 5,169 km is inside by 202 km, which is about fourteen minutes of cruise. That is a paper yes. Eight passengers, a loaded 4.25 m³ hold and a winter headwind will spend that margin, and we would want the operating crew to run the actual numbers before committing to it.
From Geneva to Dubai at 4,920 km - 451 km in hand - the picture becomes solid, and by Vienna to Dubai at 4,224 km there are 1,147 km to spare. The eastern Mediterranean runs are entirely comfortable: 2,083 km of margin on London to Larnaca, 2,143 km on London to Paphos.
What makes this aeroplane unusual in its class is not the range, though. It is that the cabin is 1.83 m high and the hold is 4.25 m³ - the largest of any midsize type on our fleet page, and larger than several of the heavy jets we list, including the Challenger 350 at 3.00 m³ and the Citation X at 2.32 m³. On a ski charter to Courchevel that combination is hard to match at this size.
Published range is a specification, not a clearance. The crew plan every flight against the actual weight, the actual weather and the actual alternates. The table below is arithmetic against our own published distances - useful for choosing an aircraft, not a substitute for a flight plan.
| Published route | Distance | Nonstop? | Margin against the published range |
|---|---|---|---|
| London to Dubai | 5,500 km | No | Beyond the published range by 129 km |
| Amsterdam to Dubai | 5,169 km | On paper only | Inside by 202 km - roughly 14 minutes of cruise, which a full cabin or a headwind can spend |
| Geneva to Dubai | 4,920 km | Yes | Inside by 451 km |
| Zurich to Dubai | 4,769 km | Yes | Inside by 602 km |
| Milan to Dubai | 4,662 km | Yes | Inside by 709 km |
| Dubai to Munich | 4,565 km | Yes | Inside by 806 km |
| Vienna to Dubai | 4,224 km | Yes, with margin | Inside by 1,147 km |
| London to Larnaca | 3,288 km | Yes, with margin | Inside by 2,083 km |
| Athens to Dubai | 3,273 km | Yes, with margin | Inside by 2,098 km |
| London to Paphos | 3,228 km | Yes, with margin | Inside by 2,143 km |
| London to Mykonos | 2,568 km | Yes, with margin | Inside by 2,803 km |
| Larnaca to Nice | 2,461 km | Yes, with margin | Inside by 2,910 km |
Below 2,400 km the question stops being interesting: every remaining route on this website is inside the range of this aircraft with room to spare. These are the mid-length ones, from about an hour and a quarter to two and a half hours by our own published flight-time estimates.
Distances are great-circle figures between airport coordinates from the OurAirports open dataset, retrieved 23 August 2026. Flight times quoted anywhere on this page are estimates from a model fitted to the flight times Diamond Executive Aero Services already publishes, not measured block times. The 19 routes shorter than 700 km are listed on the route index. Range figures are the ones published on our own fleet page and assume still air, optimum cruise and a sensible payload.
6.83 m long, 2.08 m wide, 1.83 m high, six to eight seats, two berths and 4.25 m³ of hold. In the midsize class this is the cabin the others are measured against.
Standing up. 1.83 m - six feet on the nose, and the same height our fleet page publishes for the far larger Legacy 650/600 and Legacy 500. In the midsize group only the Citation Latitude matches it; the Hawkers are 1.75 m, the Learjet 60XR 1.74 m and the Citations 1.73 m. Ten centimetres is the difference between walking down a cabin and shuffling down it.
Width. 2.08 m, the widest midsize cabin on our fleet page and wider than the Gulfstream G280 in the heavy group, which is listed at 2.18 m only a little ahead. Against the Citation midsize group at 1.68 m this is forty centimetres, which is an entirely different aeroplane at shoulder height.
Length. 6.83 m, ahead of the Citation Latitude at 6.63 m and the Hawker 750 at 6.50 m. Combined with the width, that is what lets six to eight seats be laid out without anyone sitting in a corridor.
Luggage. 4.25 m³, and this is the headline. It is the largest hold of any midsize type on our fleet page - the Citation Latitude is 3.60 m³, the Hawker 750 2.28 m³, the Learjet 60XR 1.36 m³ - and larger than the Challenger 350 at 3.00 m³ and the Falcon 900 at 3.60 m³ in the class above. For eight people with skis, golf bags or camera cases, that number is the reason to choose this aircraft.
Sleeping. Two berths. That is the one place where the specification is modest: with a full cabin on a long sector, two people lie flat. If more need to, the Hawker 1000 is listed with four in the same class and the heavy types with more again.
Crew. A flight attendant is carried, and at 870 km/h this is also the joint fastest midsize type on our fleet page, level with the Hawker 1000.
Cabin dimensions, berth counts, baggage volumes and the flight-attendant line are all taken from the specification tables published on this website, including the comparison figures quoted for other types.
The aircraft and the cabin as they are. These are the images we publish for this type.

These are our own figures for this aircraft, not somebody else’s estimate. They are whole-aircraft prices for the sectors named, at the passenger count shown, and they move with the date, the positioning of the aircraft and the fuel price on the day. Treat them as the size of the number rather than as a quotation: only a written quotation against your dates is a price. Our own guide rate for the type is EUR 3,800 per flight hour; the sector figures below are whole-aircraft prices and are not that rate multiplied by the flight time.
| Sector | Passengers | Price | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Geneva - Cagliari | 2 | 15,000 € | 01:10 |
| Larnaca - Dubai | 3 | 13000 € | 03:18 |
| Helsinki - Nice | 5 | 23800 € | 03:10 |

These are the types our own fleet page groups alongside the Legacy 450. Every figure quoted below is from their specification tables on this website.
Listed at 5,000 km, 6-8 passengers and 3.60 m³ of hold in the other 1.83 m stand-up midsize cabin. Slightly less of everything.
See the Cessna Citation Latitude ›Listed at 5,637 km, 8-9 passengers and 4 berths in a 7.44 m cabin at 1.75 m height. More range and more beds, less headroom.
See the Beechcraft Hawker 1000 ›Listed at 5,778 km, 8-9 passengers, 4 berths and an 8.17 m cabin at the same 1.83 m height. The larger sibling in the heavy group.
See the Embraer Legacy 500 ›The complete fleet is on the aircraft index. Also useful: all published routes, current empty legs, jet sharing, how chartering works.
