Cessna Citation Latitude Private Jet Charter

The midsize jet people ask for by name because of one number: 1.83 m of cabin height. Six to eight seats, 3.60 m³ of luggage, 5,000 km of range and a published hourly rate of 3,800 EUR. Here is exactly which of our routes it reaches and which two it does not.

Range, speed and cabin dimensions are specification figures for the type: the aircraft actually offered on your dates is a specific airframe with a specific interior, and its quotation carries the figures that bind.

What the range means in practice

5,000 km of published range against a network whose longest route is 5,500 km. This is the first aircraft on this list where the answer is not "everywhere", and being specific about that is more useful than being vague about it.

Two of the forty-eight routes published on this website are longer than 5,000 km: London to Dubai at 5,500 km and Amsterdam to Dubai at 5,169 km. On the published range figure, the Citation Latitude does not fly either of them nonstop. Every other route we publish is inside the range.

Two more deserve a caveat rather than a yes. Geneva to Dubai at 4,920 km leaves 80 km of margin and Zurich to Dubai at 4,769 km leaves 231 km. Those are margins of ten and twenty minutes of cruise respectively, against a specification that assumes still air, optimum cruise and a sensible payload. Eight passengers, a loaded hold and a headwind spend that margin. We would not put this type on either sector without the operating crew running the numbers for the actual day, and on most days the answer will be to use a bigger aeroplane.

From Milan to Dubai at 4,662 km downwards the picture is straightforwardly comfortable, and it becomes very comfortable indeed on the routes our own research actually names this type for. Those five - London to Palma de Mallorca at 1,391 km, London to Ibiza at 1,452 km, Rome to London at 1,488 km, Nice to Athens at 1,542 km and London to Malaga at 1,721 km - all sit at around a third of the published range or less. That is where a midsize jet is at its most efficient: comfortably inside its envelope, carrying a party it was designed for, on a sector short enough that two berths are plenty.

The general rule holds here as everywhere: published range is a specification and not a clearance, and the operating crew plan the real flight. The difference on this aircraft is that the rule has teeth - there are sectors on this site it genuinely does not reach, and we have named them rather than left you to work it out.

Below 2,400 km the question stops being interesting: every remaining route on this website is inside the range of this aircraft with room to spare. These are the mid-length ones, from about an hour and a quarter to two and a half hours by our own published flight-time estimates.

Distances are great-circle figures between airport coordinates from the OurAirports open dataset, retrieved 23 August 2026. Flight times quoted anywhere on this page are estimates from a model fitted to the flight times Diamond Executive Aero Services already publishes, not measured block times. The 19 routes shorter than 700 km are listed on the route index. Range figures are the ones published on our own fleet page and assume still air, optimum cruise and a sensible payload.

The cabin

6.63 m long, 1.96 m wide, 1.83 m high, six seats and a double sofa. In this size class, the height is what people are actually buying.

Standing up. 1.83 m of cabin height - six feet, and the same figure our fleet page publishes for the much larger Legacy 600, Legacy 650 and Legacy 500. Compare the other midsize types listed alongside it on our own fleet page: the Citation Sovereign+ at 1.73 m, the Citation XLS+ at 1.73 m, the Gulfstream G150 at 1.75 m. Ten centimetres is the difference between walking down the cabin and shuffling down it, and on a two-hour flight with eight people on board it is noticed.

Width. 1.96 m, against 1.68 m for both the Citation Sovereign+ and the Citation XLS+ and 1.75 m for the Gulfstream G150. Our fleet page puts it plainly: the cabin is wider and more spacious than all its predecessors from the Citation family of the same class. Nearly thirty centimetres of extra width in a cabin under seven metres long is not a detail.

The layout. Six seats and a double sofa, a small galley and a bathroom. The sofa is what turns six seats into eight passengers, and it is also, in practice, one of the two berths.

Sleeping. Two berths. On the sectors we quote this type for - all of them under two hours - that is more than enough. On a four-hour sector with a full cabin it is worth asking whether a super-midsize with four berths is the better answer.

Luggage. 3.60 m³, which is the largest hold of the four midsize types our fleet page groups together: 2.83 m³ on the Citation Sovereign+, 2.55 m³ on the Citation XLS+, 2.27 m³ on the Gulfstream G150. For a ski trip to Courchevel or a summer week in Ibiza, that gap is the deciding number more often than range is.

Crew. A flight attendant is carried. At this size that is not universal, and it is one of the reasons the type reads as a class above its dimensions.

Cabin dimensions, berth counts, baggage volumes and the flight-attendant line are all taken from the specification tables published on this website, including the comparison figures quoted for other types.

What it costs

From 3,800 EUR per flight hour. That is the rate Diamond Executive Aero Services publishes for the Citation Latitude. It is a rate card, not a quotation.

An hourly rate is the largest single component of a charter price and it is never the whole of it. A quotation also carries the cost of positioning the aircraft to your departure airport and away again afterwards, landing, handling and parking charges at both ends, crew duty and, on some dates, overnight costs. Two trips of the same duration on the same aircraft can differ substantially because one starts where the aeroplane already is and the other does not.

Used carefully, though, the hourly rate is a good sanity check. Take the flight time we publish for a route, multiply, and you have the flight-time component of the price before the fixed costs are added. The examples below use our own published flight-time estimates.

RouteDistancePublished flight-time estimateFlight time at 3,800 EUR/h, one way
London to Palma de Mallorca1,391 km2:10approx. 8,200 EUR
London to Ibiza1,452 km2:15approx. 8,600 EUR
Rome to London1,488 km2:17approx. 8,700 EUR
Nice to Athens1,542 km2:21approx. 8,900 EUR
London to Malaga1,721 km2:35approx. 9,800 EUR

The same 3,800 EUR hourly figure appears on our rate card for the Citation XLS+, Hawker 800XP, which is what makes it a class rate rather than an aircraft rate. Choosing between types inside a band is a decision about cabin, berths and luggage, not about the hour.

The column on the right is arithmetic, not an offer: hourly rate multiplied by our own published flight-time estimate, rounded to the nearest hundred. It excludes positioning, landing, handling, parking, crew and taxes, and the flight time itself is an estimate rather than a measured block time. Only a written quotation from Diamond Executive Aero Services against your dates is a price. Call +357 95 119759, 24/7.

Which routes we quote it on

Our own route research names the Cessna Citation Latitude as a suggested aircraft on 5 of the routes published on this website. They run from 1,391 km to 1,721 km. These are not the only sectors it can fly - the range table above covers that - they are the ones where we would put it forward first.

Questions we get about this aircraft

What does a Citation Latitude cost per flight hour?
Our published rate for this type is 3,800 EUR per flight hour. That is the rate card and not a quotation - positioning, airport and handling charges, crew duty and the date all move the final figure, and only a written quotation against your dates is a price. As a worked example, our published flight-time estimate for London to Ibiza is 2 h 15, which at the hourly rate is about 8,600 EUR of flight time before anything else is added.
Can a Citation Latitude fly to Dubai?
From most of Europe, yes; from London or Amsterdam, no. Our fleet page gives 5,000 km of range. London to Dubai is 5,500 km and Amsterdam to Dubai is 5,169 km, both beyond it. Geneva at 4,920 km and Zurich at 4,769 km are inside the figure but with only 80 km and 231 km of margin, which a full cabin and a headwind will spend - we would not plan either without the crew running the actual numbers. Milan, Vienna and Athens are comfortable.
Can you stand up in the cabin?
Yes, for most adults. The cabin height on our fleet page is 1.83 m - the same figure we publish for the far larger Legacy 600 and 650. The midsize types listed next to it are 1.73 m to 1.75 m, so this is the one in its class where you walk rather than stoop.
How many passengers, and is there a flight attendant?
Six to eight passengers - our page describes six seats and a double sofa - and yes, a flight attendant is carried. There is a small galley and a bathroom on board. Two berths.
How much luggage does it take compared with other midsize jets?
3.60 m³, which is the largest of the midsize group on our own fleet page - the Citation Sovereign+ is listed at 2.83 m³, the Citation XLS+ at 2.55 m³ and the Gulfstream G150 at 2.27 m³. On ski and beach routes that difference decides more charters than range does.
Which routes do you quote it on?
Our route research names the Citation Latitude on five published sectors: London to Palma de Mallorca, London to Ibiza, Rome to London, Nice to Athens and London to Malaga. They run from 1,391 km to 1,721 km - about a third of the published range, which is where a midsize jet is at its most efficient.

Prices we have published for the Citation Latitude

These are our own figures for this aircraft, not somebody else’s estimate. They are whole-aircraft prices for the sectors named, at the passenger count shown, and they move with the date, the positioning of the aircraft and the fuel price on the day. Treat them as the size of the number rather than as a quotation: only a written quotation against your dates is a price.
