A midsize jet that trades range for luggage: 4,074 km, six to eight seats and 2.28 m³ of hold - more baggage volume than either the Hawker 800XP or the Hawker 1000 in the same cabin cross-section. It reaches the eastern Mediterranean comfortably and does not reach the Gulf. This page says exactly where the line falls.
REQUEST A QUOTEEvery figure in this block is copied from the specification table on our own fleet page for this type. Nothing here is a manufacturer brochure number and nothing has been rounded up.
4,074 km of published range against a network whose longest sector is 5,500 km. Seven of the routes on this website are beyond it and forty-one are inside it, and being specific about which is more useful than being vague about it.
The seven this aircraft does not reach nonstop are the Gulf sectors: London to Dubai at 5,500 km, Amsterdam to Dubai at 5,169 km, Geneva to Dubai at 4,920 km, Zurich to Dubai at 4,769 km, Milan to Dubai at 4,662 km, Dubai to Munich at 4,565 km and Vienna to Dubai at 4,224 km. The last of those misses by 150 km, which is close enough to be tempting and not close enough to plan on.
Everything else on this website is inside the figure, and from London to Larnaca at 3,288 km downwards the margins are real: 786 km in hand to Larnaca, 846 km to Paphos, 801 km on Athens to Dubai, 1,506 km on London to Mykonos and 1,613 km on Larnaca to Nice.
Inside Europe the question does not arise. The longest intra-European route we publish is London to Malaga at 1,721 km - under half the published range - and the ones this aircraft is most often quoted for, the Mediterranean island runs and the alpine ski sectors, are shorter still.
What you are buying with the shorter range is the hold. 2.28 m³ is the largest of the three Hawkers our fleet page lists, ahead of the Hawker 1000 at 2.04 m³ and well ahead of the Hawker 800XP at 1.40 m³. On London to Courchevel with eight sets of skis, or Nice to Ibiza in August, that number decides more charters than range does.
Published range is a specification and not a clearance. The operating crew plan every flight against the actual weight, the actual weather and the actual alternates, and their figure is the one that binds. The table below is the arithmetic against our own published distances, no more than that.
| Published route | Distance | Nonstop? | Margin against the published range |
|---|---|---|---|
| London to Dubai | 5,500 km | No | Beyond the published range by 1,426 km |
| Amsterdam to Dubai | 5,169 km | No | Beyond the published range by 1,095 km |
| Geneva to Dubai | 4,920 km | No | Beyond the published range by 846 km |
| Zurich to Dubai | 4,769 km | No | Beyond the published range by 695 km |
| Milan to Dubai | 4,662 km | No | Beyond the published range by 588 km |
| Dubai to Munich | 4,565 km | No | Beyond the published range by 491 km |
| Vienna to Dubai | 4,224 km | No | Beyond the published range by 150 km |
| London to Larnaca | 3,288 km | Yes | Inside by 786 km |
| Athens to Dubai | 3,273 km | Yes | Inside by 801 km |
| London to Paphos | 3,228 km | Yes | Inside by 846 km |
| London to Mykonos | 2,568 km | Yes, with margin | Inside by 1,506 km |
| Larnaca to Nice | 2,461 km | Yes, with margin | Inside by 1,613 km |
Below 2,400 km the question stops being interesting: every remaining route on this website is inside the range of this aircraft with room to spare. These are the mid-length ones, from about an hour and a quarter to two and a half hours by our own published flight-time estimates.
Distances are great-circle figures between airport coordinates from the OurAirports open dataset, retrieved 23 August 2026. Flight times quoted anywhere on this page are estimates from a model fitted to the flight times Diamond Executive Aero Services already publishes, not measured block times. The 19 routes shorter than 700 km are listed on the route index. Range figures are the ones published on our own fleet page and assume still air, optimum cruise and a sensible payload.
6.50 m long, 1.83 m wide, 1.75 m high, six to eight seats, two or three of which become beds, and the largest hold of the Hawker family at 2.28 m³.
Standing up. 1.75 m of cabin height, the figure published for every Hawker on our fleet page. Most passengers stoop slightly; anyone at or under about 1.75 m does not. It is the honest limitation of this generation of midsize jet, and the alternative in the same band with a genuine stand-up cabin is the Legacy 450 at 1.83 m.
Width and layout. 1.83 m across, which is wider than the whole Citation midsize group on our fleet page - the Sovereign, the XLS+ and the Citation X are all listed at 1.68 m. Fifteen centimetres across a six-and-a-half metre cabin is felt at the shoulder, not on paper, and it is why a club four in this cross-section does not feel like a compromise.
Sleeping. Two to three berths. A party of eight will not all lie flat, and on the sectors this aircraft is properly suited to - three to four and a half hours - that is rarely the question. If it is the question, the Hawker 1000 is listed with four berths in the same cross-section.
Luggage. 2.28 m³, the largest of the three Hawkers we list and one of the largest in the midsize band on this site. That is the specification line this type is actually bought on. Skis, golf bags, a photographer’s cases: this is the aircraft where they go in the hold rather than in a seat.
Crew. A flight attendant is carried, which on a six- to eight-seat cabin flying three hours and more means proper catering and a cabin someone is looking after.
Cabin dimensions, berth counts, baggage volumes and the flight-attendant line are all taken from the specification tables published on this website, including the comparison figures quoted for other types.
The aircraft and the cabin as they are, and the seating plan underneath. These are the images we publish for this type.

These are our own figures for this aircraft, not somebody else’s estimate. They are whole-aircraft prices for the sectors named, at the passenger count shown, and they move with the date, the positioning of the aircraft and the fuel price on the day. Treat them as the size of the number rather than as a quotation: only a written quotation against your dates is a price. Our own guide rate for the type is EUR 3,800 per flight hour; the sector figures below are whole-aircraft prices and are not that rate multiplied by the flight time.
| Sector | Passengers | Price | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Larnaca - Geneva | 2 | 14000 € | 03:30 |
| Milan - Ibiza | 4 | 7000 € | 01:42 |
| Nice - Ibiza | 3 | 6000 € | 01:30 |

These are the types our own fleet page groups alongside the Hawker 750. Every figure quoted below is from their specification tables on this website.
Listed at 5,463 km in the same 6.50 m by 1.83 m by 1.75 m cabin, with a 1.40 m³ hold. Far more range, far less luggage volume.
See the Beechcraft Hawker 900XP/850XP/800XP ›Listed at 5,637 km, 8-9 passengers, a 7.44 m cabin and 4 berths. The long-bodied member of the family.
See the Beechcraft Hawker 1000 ›Listed at 4,330 km, 6-7 passengers and 1.36 m³ of hold. Similar range, notably less cabin and hold.
See the Bombardier Learjet 60XR ›The complete fleet is on the aircraft index. Also useful: all published routes, current empty legs, jet sharing, how chartering works.
