13,705 km published range against a longest published route of 5,500 km. On this network range is simply not a variable for the Global 7000, so this section spends most of its time on the thing that is: 16.64 m of cabin, which is a different aeroplane from anything else on our fleet page.
The number that matters on a chartered aircraft is not the headline range but the margin left over once the headline range has been spent. A published range figure is a still-air, optimum-cruise, sensible-payload figure. Fill all seventeen seats, load the hold and fly into a winter jet stream, and the usable figure comes down. On an aircraft with a thin margin that would matter; here it does not.
The longest sector we publish, London to Dubai at 5,500 km, uses 40 per cent of the published range and leaves 8,205 km unspent. Every other route on this website is shorter. The practical consequence is that this aircraft is chosen for the cabin and then flies the sector as an afterthought - which is the opposite of how most charter decisions are made.
What the range does buy on this network is freedom of routing. An aircraft with eight thousand kilometres in hand does not care that the airway goes the long way round a closed piece of airspace, does not need a technical stop when a headwind is worse than forecast, and can run a long sector and reposition afterwards without refuelling. On a multi-leg itinerary that is the difference between the schedule you were given and the schedule you get.
None of that is a promise for your specific day. Published range is a specification, not a guarantee: the operating crew plans every flight against the actual weight, the actual weather and the actual alternate airfields, and their number is the one that counts. What the table below shows is a fleet of sectors, none of which asks this aircraft for even half of what it has.

Distances are great-circle figures between airport coordinates from the OurAirports open dataset, retrieved 23 August 2026. Flight times quoted anywhere on this page are estimates from a model fitted to the flight times Diamond Executive Aero Services already publishes, not measured block times. The 19 routes shorter than 700 km are listed on the route index. Range figures are the ones published on our own fleet page and assume still air, optimum cruise and a sensible payload.
16.64 m long, 2.41 m wide, 1.88 m high, fifteen to seventeen seats, seven to eight of which become beds, a full galley, a full-size crew rest compartment and a 5.52 m³ hold that is reachable in flight. Here is what each of those measurements means once you are on board.
Length is the whole story. 16.64 m is the longest cabin on our fleet page outside the airliner-derived types - three and a half metres longer than the Global 6000 at 13.18 m, and more than two metres longer than the Gulfstream G650 at 14.27 m. That is not extra seats. Our tables list fifteen to seventeen against thirteen to fourteen for the Global 6000, so most of the length has gone into space between people rather than more people.
Four zones. The description we publish for this type is specific: four separate cabin zones. On a sector of six hours or more that is the difference between a party of sixteen and four groups of four - a meeting at one end, a meal in the middle, and people asleep at the other end without any of it disturbing the rest.
Crew rest. A full-size crew rest compartment is on the specification, which is a line that appears nowhere else on our fleet page. It is what makes very long single sectors practical without the crew duty limits becoming the constraint on the itinerary.
Sleeping. Seven to eight berths, the highest figure of any purpose-built twin we list. Against fifteen to seventeen seats that is roughly half the party flat.
Luggage. 5.52 m³, accessible during the flight - the Global family volume, shared with the 5000 and the 6000. Cabin width is also unchanged at 2.41 m and height at 1.88 m: this aircraft is longer than its sisters, not fatter.
